Dr Ma didn't give me the implants I wanted and that we had discussed; they aren't even close to what we discussed. She was rude and angry, and refused to give me post-op care when I voiced my concerns. Her actions were completely unethical . I waited 8 years for augmentation and I am so unhappy. She simply "took my money and ran".

I had breast augmentation 27 years ago and my implants had become encapsulated, hard as rocks and were heading north. Pain brought me into see Dr Ma, and I am so very glad I did! Implant technology has changed dramatically in almost three decades. The new implants are more impervious to the leaking and damage that caused my encapsulation. Dr. Ma's office shows style and attention to artistic details. I wanted my top to be balanced with my hips. I wanted to look good in and out of clothes. I wanted a surgeon who cared about the way I felt about the results. I am thrilled to be so natural looking, natural feeling, balanced, and soft. I wish I'd have found her years ago!

I've been seeing Dr Ma since my breast cancer diagnosis. I would highly recommend her to any one. Dr Ma has been professional in her work and has the BEST bedside manner ever. She has always provided the best advice concerning any surgeries that had to be done. I trust her 110%. Dr Ma is one of the most caring Doctors that I have dealt with and would highly recommend her to everyone.

I went to Dr. Ma for breast reduction surgery. I am so glad I did. From the outset, she and her staff were very caring and spent a lot of time with me, discussing options. They worked directly with my insurance company to get approval for the surgery. (Other doctors I considered told me that it would be up to me to communicate with my insurance company for approval; they just wouldn't take the time.) I have suffered with large breasts since I was a kid. (I started developing at age 10!) My back and neck hurt constantly. There were always deep groves in my shoulders from my bra straps. It hurt to run or jump. They even disrupted my sleep! Having the surgery really improved my quality of life. The pain is gone; the grooves are gone; I actually started running on the treadmill at the rec center! And I sleep through the night like a baby. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. I would do it again and the only surgeon I would consider is Dr. Ma. Her work is wonderful! I went from a DD to a perfect C. My breasts look natural and for the first time in my life, my nipples point out, not down. I am so happy with the results. I look at the "before" pictures now, and I can't believe it's me. I will always be grateful to Dr. Ma.

Dr Ma was excellent both pre-op and post-op. I was extremely pleased with my recovery and my results.

I am a 17-year breast cancer survivor. I had a mastectomy and reconstruction done at the time of diagnosis by another plastic surgeon. The results were o.k., but not great. Dr. Ma revised the reconstruction, replacing the old implant and filling in around it with fat grafting. She also lifted my other breast to match. The results are outstanding and I am thrilled! I can finally wear anything I want and no longer feel "maimed." I only wish I had had the revision done sooner.

Dr Ma made me feel comfortable and confident from my very first visit. She and her staff are friendly, knowledgable, and caring, and they treat you like a friend and not just a client. I went to several plastic surgeons before visiting Dr Ma. I knew immediately that she was the doctor to me. She listened to me, without rushing me. She joked with me to help put me at ease and asked me over and over what I wanted to make sure I was happy. I love, love, love, LOVE my breast augmentation results and trust her 100%.

After having all of my children I decided that a breast reduction would be beneficial for me. I have had chronic back and neck pain for over 20 years. I was worried about the surgery and recovery and was going to put it off, but in the end decided to go with it. It was the best decision I could have made. Dr. Ma was open and honest, she was easy to talk to and made the surgery easy to manage. She used state-of-the- art pain management for me which allowed me to be on less narcotics and I found the recovery time to be less than expected. I think that being younger also helped with scaring which I found to me more minimal that office photos shown. Being the Mom of 3 kids it is nice to have my body back to a place where I can enjoy all of the activities that we like to do. I have found instant headache relief, better posture and I never think about my upper half of the body anymore... it has taken 10 years off my age mentally and physically. If you are considering this surgery do it sooner rather than later!

I would definitely go visit Dr. Ma again. Logistically, her office was always on top of things and her staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I always had the utmost confidence in Dr. Ma's abilities and knowledge. At times, Dr. Ma can come off a bit short, but I think this is just a first impression thing. She is very caring and its clear that it's important to her that her patients' needs are met.

Finding out you have breast cancer is a devasting thing. Especially when you are a Registered Nurse and have seen your patients go thru what you are about to go thru. That's why I knew I wanted Dr. Ma. I had seen her interact with her patients. She always was very careful to explain things to her patients and give them time to ask all the questions they needed. And she has been exactly like that with me! The reconstructive road is a difficult one but my breasts are done so well that you can't even tell I had cancer!!! Another great thing about Dr. Ma is that she is a "Germaphob." Love that in a doctor when you have to do lots of office procedures! I HIGHLY recommend her. I haven't had one issue with her or her staff!!

I had cosmetic breast implants with Dr. Ma last week. She did not explain the post-op recovery timeline to me. When I called her, she never asked how I was feeling (what kind of a doctor doesn't ask that?)and then was extremely rude when I asked her questions. In a rotten tone she asked me, "Did you read the handout?" Well Dr Ma, yes I did, but I still have a few questions and it's not out of line for me to want my doctor, who I paid A LOT OF MONEY, to answer a few questions. To answer my questions in a respectful and compassionate manner. She did NOT give me the size of implants I wanted and absolutely did NOT have a decent bedside manner. STAY AWAY FROM DR. MA!!!!!!!

My experience with Dr Ma and her staff was outstanding. I had cosmetic surgery and everyone was extremely professional and caring. Dr Ma has excellent bedside manner. She is witty and easy to talk to. She listened to everything I said about what I wanted and I couldn't be happier with the results. I will and have recommended her to anyone I know seeking cosmetic plastic surgery. I can't say enough great things about her and her choice of staff.

Dr Ma failed to recognize and treat the early signs of tissue necrosis after my breast reconstruction and I am now left with permanent, disfiguring scars on my breasts. I felt humiliated and bullied by her just because I dared to ask her any questions about my care. She does not treat her staff or patients with respect.

There are not enough words to say how wonderful this Doctor is. She is very professional and a perfectionist when it comes to her work. She did my double mastectomy and did a SUPER JOB! She listens and make sure that my concerns have been answered. I highly recommend her.

Dr Ma is the best Dr I have meet. Her staff is wonderful also. I had open wound for 9 years and in less in one month and my first visit Dr Ma said she will get me fixed. It has been hard to have a open wound for 9 years that leaked all the time using two large band-aids daily. I never thought I would get healed. Her staff got my insurance to approve for surgery a old wound. Then Dr Ma did her magic and I can not thank her enough. My stomach is all healed and no more open leaking wound. THANK YOU so much.

Im not the kind of person who likes to write on websites or give reviews, but after reading one of the reviews on this site I feel that I have to be fair to Dr. Ma. More importantly I feel that every patient should know the truth about Dr. Ma. I am a Breast Cancer Survivor - not only did Dr. Ma help to save my life but she made me feel beautiful again. When I meet other breast cancer patients, I ask them to guess which boob is which: boob by Dr. Ma, or boob by God? Most people say they cant tell the difference between them. Which is the best compliment I can get (thanks to Dr. Ma.)! Just recently, I was told that had a mole on my leg that was a melanoma. I was told that I needed to have to it removed immediately. The first I call I made was not to my husband, it was to Dr. Ma. She removed it for me, and thanks to Dr. Ma and the other doctors on my team Im alive and well today! Thank you Dr. Ma for helping to save my life, and for making it possible to look the in the mirror and feel BEAUTIFUL! Lastly I would call on Dr. Ma in a heart beat if I every needed her again.Dana

I recommend Dr. Ma very highly. She is both a talented physician and surgeon, she is a wonderful person. I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in 2003. The first surgeon I consulted was much more into cosmetic surgery than the reconstructive surgery I was seeking. I was most fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Ma. Dr. Ma took a lot of time with me, explaining the mastectomies and the reconstruction of my breasts. She was always caring, professional, conservative, thoughtful. Her standards are high which is to the advantage of the patient. Dr. Ma's pre-op and post-op care was excellent. As a Registered Nurse, I recommend Dr. Ma to other women who are faced with breast cancer surgery as well as those seeking breast reduction, breast augmentation, as well as cosmetic procedures. Dr. Ma is also a trained hand surgery and is talented in procedures of the hand.

I typically do not write reviews on line because I think they are often not legitimate. But I feel that Dr. Ma was such a gem of a doctor, that I needed to spread the word. I am a breast cancer patient and I learned about Dr. Ma from a fellow breast cancer patient. Dr. Ma was so caring, spent almost 2 hrs with me, and was an overall amazing doctor. She did a beautiful reconstruction on me, and she is clearly a talented surgeon.
