Awful Dr. Rude. Inconsiderate. Does not have empathy for patients. Did not have best interest of patient.

Since I was on time for my appointment the Dr refused to visit me!

She is an amazing OB! She took wonderful care of my wife and our family, took all the time that was needed, is a great educator, very thorough, and very compassionate. She also doesn't beat around the bush, gets right to the fact of the matter, which we like. She also safely delivered our brand new child and came to check on us multiple times during our hospital stay. We would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Stemmerman was my OB on my first pregnancy which was considered a high risk one. First time mom 35+ and some other reasons for the high risk. We also moved in the state when I was about 30 weeks already. Dr. Stemmerman carefully read through all my pregnancy records from another hospital and took all peculiarities into consideration. I was going to have a vaginal delivery and Dr Stemmerman made all necessary decisions to help me deliver vaginally and in a smoothest way possible. She was always there to answer my questions. I'm very glad she was the one who helped our little daughter see the world. Thank you!

She was the OB on call when my son was born. I had midwives so I was hoping the OB would not be necessary. However, my son was not dropping so we decided on a vacuum attempt. Unfortunately, Stemmerman was on call. She barely spoke to us and did the procedure like she was working on a car - no human connection whatsoever. We ended up in an urgent C-Section at which point, she still did not check to see how I was doing... the assisting OB did. Due to how she treated me during my traumatic birth experience, I am now suffering from PTSD for 3 years now. She needs to find a new job because she is destroying experiences for so many families.

Very good & cooperative doctor Stemmerman and nurse lauri, always answered all my queries. Would definitely recommend my friends.. She was there for my c section at 3 in the morning.. I will miss both of them forever in my life..

I felt so comfortable and put to ease from the moment I walked in the door all the way till the time I left. I didn't feel like another number which was so important to me.

Although she was not available to actually deliver my baby she was available at all my appointments leading up. She was knowledgible, and explained thing I didn't understand. I was one of those read all the books women, and I never had any problems with what she said. I have genital herpes and it does pose a risk while giving birth.. I gave birth-vaginally- to a beautiful baby and she called 2 hours after delivery to see how things went, how I was feeling, how breastfeeding was going, etc. I still see her for yearly exams and LOVE her. Each doctor is different and each person needs to find the one that fits for them.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Dr. Stemmerman and her staff. After having a miscarriage the first time, she took every precaution on my 2nd pregnancy. What stands out the most in my mind though was her caring yet thoroughly competent demeanor during my scheduled C-section. I was incredibly nervous in the hour or so beforehand, she walked in and talked to me and gave me this big bright smile and reassured me completely. During surgery she answered every question and talked to me about what she was doing as she did it. I know she's done thousands of c-sections but she treated me as if I was her first. I'd also like to note that Maternal-Fetal medicine at Evergreen was absolutely fantastic, all of the other doctors and staff in the surgery, and the nurses post-surgery too.

I don't even know where to start. Pregnancy: No bedside manner, rough examinations, not informative, getting information is like pulling teeth. Nurse practitioners were good. Delivery: My wife went into labor early, Stemmerman wasn't there to deliver the baby and I'm thankful she wasn't. The oncall Dr. who delivered our baby was excellent. Polar opposite of Stemmerman. Hospital okayed us for discharge (after being there for 3 days we were ready to leave), but we had to wait hrs for Stemmerman to show up and sign off. She was a 5 min walk away from us. Follow up: wasn't any better. Doesn't read your records before the visit. Asked my wife about her C-section at the last follow up visit and my wife had to tell her she gave birth vaginally. Wow! Do yourself and your baby a big favor and see another Dr. I wouldn't send my dog to Stemmerman.
