I am writing this review after 10 years after my first pregnancy. I live in California now and have a enjoyable easy second pregnancy with an Ob/Gyn from UCSF who I consider an angle from heaven. She not only took good care of me but taught me how to take good care of myself during pregnancy and after ward. I saw Diana Saari during my first pregnancy. A good doctor is a good doctor and this woman in far from being a good doctor. I highly suspect she never had children of her own and out there to jeopardize a women's pregnancy. I was in Minneapolis and end up with her as my primary doctor. I was 21 and it was my first pregnancy. After few months , late into my pregnancy , I realized she is a horrible OB/Gyn doctor and start seeing her other colleagues. But unfortunately she still remain my primary doctor. I started my pregnancy with 132 pound healthy woman and end up to 200 lb very sick new mom. Water gain, pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure) and diabetics. I had tear while… delivering. I was induced and long painful labor. I asked her several time what am I doing wrong , why I am gaining so much weight , what should I do. She replied "I know why I am gaining the weight". She never gave me any advice on exercising, diet , asked my what I eat . Nothing , nothing. I was young and naive about a doctor taking care of my. At that time there were not enough in the web , internet taking care of yourself during pregnancy. I still remember 2/3 days later after the birth, all the synthetic hormone given to me to induce the labor, along with the blood pressure, water gain, all were acting up and it seems like something is chewing my whole body. I called the doctor office and she being the primary doctor was handed the phone. She told my to go to emergency. This is an incompetent pregnancy doctor. After the baby was born, the incompetent doctor strikes again. She prescribed me the "patch" for birth control, which has high dose of estrogen. My healthy baby boy lost his weights within months as the hormone was passing through my breastmilk. My was naive young person back then and before my second pregnancy, I did not realize how wonderful a ob/gyn doctor can be. Please run if, even if it is late in your pregnancy, from Diana Saari. She is a incompetent when it comes to taking care of pregnant women.
