Dr. Dimple Raina, MD

If I could give a zero star I would. A doctor should be empathetic. Character is important. My first and last visit with her. She was rude and condescending.

Saw Dr. Raina in Johns Creek office. I am undergoing advanced prostate cancer treatment. She entered the exam room and immediately said she was not going to be my pain manager. I never asked her to do that but rather why is my belly distended and in pain. I left her office with no diagnosis, no referral and no direction to go for help. I found a colon rectal surgeon and within 5 minutes was diagnosed with a spreading cancer to the small bowel and tumor that I will need surgery for next week. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DOCTOR!!!

Took my daughter to Dr Raina. Arrived as directed, 30 minutes prior. An hour and 1/2 later still waiting. Tried to get assistance from office staff who was either not there or to busy chatting among themselves. Dr. Does not seem interested in working with patient on options. Left 2 messages over s 7 day period. Message only returned after I cancelled next appointment and filed complaint. Dr. Calls and says they are busy. I find the Dr cold and dismissive and unwilling to work with patient.

just wanted to let you know I went to Dr. Raina today and she would like me to a liver biopsy done. She does not like the size of it. I know I have a fatty liver and NASH for almost 18 years.. I just want someone to know that she will be last person I will every see again. When she asked if I drank alcohol I told her if I had 2 Margarita's in the last 12 months that would be a lot. I did tell her I occasionally cook with wine when the recipe calls for it. She hopes I wasn't lying and the veins by nose say otherwise. She said the test will tell the truth. I am very much aware of what alcohol does to you. I grew up with an alcoholic father and had an alcoholic grandfather. When I have liver biopsy by another gastroenterology I will be sending her the results. She will see the truth. This really bothers me. Tell me I eat unhealthy and eat fried food I readily will admit that but alcohol is not in my life. Just wondering what to do. I have never basically had a doctor say I was lying. … Thank you

She has the worst disposition of any doctor ever. She’s rude and you feel like you’re in court being cross examined by a prosecutor. I will never go back to see her, sadly, because the staff couldn’t have been any nicer.

Just very inexperienced and very rude.
