Languages Available: Hindi, Panjabi Biography & Background: Dinesh Agnihotri, MD, joined Lutheran Medical Group in July 2009 as an internal medicine specialist. His special clinical interests are in central venous catheter placement, stress testing, ICU and ventilator management, arthrocentesis and joint injections and skin biopsies. Dr. Agnihotri earned a medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, in 1994. He completed a residency in pulmonary medicine at VP Chest Institute, also in New Delhi, in 1996. He completed a residency in internal medicine at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, University of Illinois in Peoria in 2000, and a second residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois/Urbana-Champaign College of Medicine, where he was chief resident, in 2001. Before joining LMG, Dr. Agnihotri was an internal medicine physician at Internal Medicine Associates of Tullahoma in Tullahoma, Tenn. He also served as a private practice physician at Coffee County Internal Medicine, also in Tullahoma, and as chief of staff at St. Andrews Health Center in Bottineau, N.D. Dr. Angihotri is a member of the American College of Physicians. |
