He received his medical training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston followed by a residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Parikh completed a Nephrology Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. He currently works with the Fistula First Initiative (Network 6), the Duke Clinical Research Institute, and Emory University on clinical research projects to evaluate and improve vascular access outcomes for hemodialysis patients.
