Dr. Don L Goldenberg, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldenberg for 20+ years. When I first went to him, most doctors knew very little about fibromyalgia. My initial visit was VERY informative and everyone involved was kind, caring and helpful. In reference to another reviewer, you can't believe everything you see on the internet.

I went to Dr. Goldenberg to get a second opinion on a Fibromyalgia diagnosis and to deal with pain management. He took no blood work to verify that I didn't have some other problem. He spent 10 minutes examining and talking to me and then had me go and wait while he took the other 6 patients that were also there for FM. He then gathered us all in a room and proceeded to tell us all about FM - all info I had already found on the internet. At the end of the presentation he mentions he has his book for sale if you are interested. Then he calls each patient back in the room and give you a treatment plan. My treatment plan was a recommendation to increase my Cymbalta medication, which I had already told him I could not do because of bad side effects, and to take 2 Aleve twice a day for pain, which is an absolute joke. Then he scheduled me for follow-up in a year, which of course I declined. The experience cost about $800.
