 |  This is rating doctor Willems not the Pain Clinic he was at  |  show details

I think Bernice the Office Manager was great but the staff was not too reliable and I think the mistake was it got to big for its good and I don't care what other doctors or people say. The News wants to sensationalize everything but I invested a lot of time trying to get to where I was at and was finally stable by the help of Bernice and Dr Willems. The News, I think Channel cut off anything nice I had to say except for that I took the two narcotics. I am taking these narcotics until any of the specialist I am seeing tell me what I can do to manage my pain. And, Dr Willems and Bernice were great...and if anyone was rude it was BSO and the DEA. I went in there and they asked me why I was there in Pompano. I never been to his Wellington office. And, the other person who said that he prescribed narcotics and those people didn't need them. How would that person know? Me, I need them and I am unwilling to live in any pain and they helped me get on mail order until the point that I got disability. After they shut-down, with that rap sheet and the scared doctors it made it tough for me. But Dr Willems and Bernice were great (Frank her husband I never talked to was nice). I don't know who did what but with me they were by the book. Pompano Pain Probably was one of the best Pain Clinics in town and they were very busy and thats probably why they are using them as an example. Isn't it voting season too. Theres a bad rap sheet for Pain Clinics and she worked hard and she was knowledgeable too. I left when they expanded because I didn't want to be rotated amongst a whole bunch of doctors and the laws changed and I was lowered and went to another doctor that I was referred to and he noticed my swelling, 4-6 months later he was "in the hospital". He lost his license or something which was the truth. Jackie in his office referred me to someone at noon on Thursday that closed on Friday. And, I ended up with a lady that kept giving me two IRs and I told her the pharmacists was refusing to fill two IR's. The Walgreens said she was yelling at them. I asked her and then she twists things around and mentioning I was doctor shopping and the Pharmacy manager sent me something saying I wasn't doctor shopping either thats when I went back to Bernice and we made a lot of progress and we were working on getting me a nerve conduction study test because my MRI damages were immense in my neck which I do have pain but it was manageable whereas I had a minimal bulge on my lower back where the major pain was. I need to be diagnose them God Blessed me with Disability and I have a nerve conduction study at the Cleveland Clinic in a couple days...and in time we will find out whats wrong. But I want my charts, everything we went through to get to this point. Nga Truong

I think Dr. Willems is a wonderful Dr. who cares about his patients needs. It's unfortunate that it's hard to differentiate between people who are pill seeking & are in need. They all provide the same documentation & Dr. Willems determains their needs. I was a paitent of Dr. Willems with serious health issues, & I have & will refer people I know to him. I have personally seen him turn people away that don't meet the criteria for the services he provides. Laurel Erickson

Name: Robert ZoyesMy overall expierance was comfortable. The doctor made me feel welcome and at informed. I felt as though he cared about my well being. I would definently recomend Dr. Willems to anyone i knew who was in need of a helpful doctor. here is an example of how much i appreciate his service: I came across this survey while googling his name because i feel it is smart to know who your doctor is and to know thier success rates and in doing so i saw this survey and i was tired because it is late but i felt it necessary to let the readers know how well he treated me in order for others to have factual patient information so that they might be pursueded to pay him a visit and get treated as well as he treated me.-Write about what you like or dislike about your doctor-Write about whether you would recommend-Write as if you are talking to a peer who is asking your opinion

Dr Willems consistently over prescribes narcotics to our communities drug addicts. He is a key part in south floridas drug problem. He contributes to oxycontin addicts and I have personally seen him over prescribe multiple C-2 narcotics to people who do not need them. He is an enabler. Avoid him, he has poor professional and moral judgement.
