Dr. Dong Hee Park, MD

Dr. Park was our daughter’s pediatrician since her 2 week checkup after being born. We would take our Rachel to no one else, Dr. Park is that exceptional. She is a no nonsense, common sense treating doctor. Follow her instructions and your child will be better in no time. Dr. Park also does not just prescribe something/anything just to make it seem like she is doing something. She knows her field and what is best for your child/condition. We stayed with Dr. Park until Rachel could no longer go to her because of age and insurance. Our Rachel loved her, we loved her. Best pediatrician, EVER!

My experiences with Dr. Park has been horrible. She is very rude and condescending. She is not kid friendly and she is very opinionated. She speaks over you and wont allow you to speak. My daughter has asthma during COVID-19 and every time she goes to school she starts wheezing really bad. I spoke with the school and they were will to allow my daughter to do school virtually. I sent the documents over to doctor park to fill out. Her response was that she is not my servant and she refuse to fill it out. When expressing my concerns about my daughters asthma she told me to find another doctor and walked out of the room and attempted to slam the door in my face but I caught the door. Her behavior was unacceptable on top of that she did all of that in front of my daughter. The other experience I had with her was in regard s to my son. I took my son to her due to a lump on the back of his head along with a red patch. Dr. Park told me to wash him with water no soap and it may go away. Correct… me if I'm wrong but since when do water heal a lump. I took my son to AI Dupont and they were able to assist right then and there. They wanted me to follow up with Dr. Park. Once I came in for a follow-up and told her I had been to the hospital she then started agreeing with what they said and started giving me free sample size creams and soaps (assuming she felt bad) The soaps and creams had nothing to do with my babies issues. She is the worst doctor in the State of Maryland. She said her own son and his girlfriend don't want to have kids I see why.

All three of my children were patients of Dr. Park. My kids love her. My youngest had a irregular heartbeat and was referred to A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital. The physician at A.I. DuPont was amazed that Dr. Park was able to detect her irregular heartbeat. Dr. Park also has a great staff, who are friendly and care fondly for the patients and their parents.

Very rude ,disrespectful, yanked my child about, told me I was "stupid" and that my child previous doctors was just as stupid, was told "that's why i see you have state insurance" and "why I was separated/divorce". When I mentioned her rudeness and how it was professional she said "she could be anything she is the doctor, and oh well if I didn't like it!

Very kind and proffesional

I have been taking my children to Dr. Park for many years, and she has always been very caring and resourceful. Some people may be taken aback by her brisk manner, but I appreciate her efficiency and extensive knowledge about any problem my children may have. She is always busy with her patients, so it may be hard to keep her for more than a couple of minutes, but if your child has a serious problem, she will most definitely stay and answer all of your questions.

New doctor for our family. One of the worst Ped Doctors I have ever met. She doesn't deal with you having questions, thoughts or your own opinions. She's rude, offensive and dismissive. Changes medications with the pharmacy and does not consultant you, the parent. For all she knows your child had a reaction to that medication. When you try to speak to her regarding your child's care she simply says she'll be glad to send you to another doctor. She doesn't have time. I was floored. At the time I persisted to get my child the care needed in the moment but we'll be looking for another doctor & we won't be going to anyone she recommends. Save yourself the time, go elsewhere to someone who cares about your kids wellbeing.
