Dr. Donna Lyn Chester, MD

Dr. Donna has been my doctor for 25 yrs and is kind, caring and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, she has moved her office out of Anchorage, so it’s a long drive for me now. People out in the valley are lucky to have her.

Gave me false information and misled me regarding my pregnancies and pressed me to have my tubes tied during my 3rd pregnancy, including during my c-section. After my horrible experience during my last c-section, I looked into the national guidelines for OBGYN and found where she had lied to me about my options for vbac and about the risk of c-section when inducing, which is what happened with my first baby. I wish more than anything that I had never gone anywhere near Dr. Chester.

I have been with Dr. Chester for 22 years and so have my sister in laws and some of my friends. She is amazing at her job and there is never a stupid question to her. You never fell rushed at all. I recommend her to everyone I can. She is very personable and easy to talk to.

i have had the oppertunity to have care by both Dr. Chester and NP Dolly Lefever, both of my interactions were educational and not overwhelming with Dr. jargon i could not understand. They both showed a level of care that was individual to me at that time and when i called back to ask a questions i forgot to ask the office staff was very helpful and patient with me in understanding what i was trying to figure out, i would highly recomend this office to anyone needing any GYN care.

I wanted to thank all of you for taking such great care of me through the last month and during my surgery. I am recovering well and behaving myself for a speedy recovery.
