I love her. She is so kind. She listens to me.

My husband is in a nursing home and was having leg pain. I asked her if she was going to see my husband that day and she said no because they didn't tell her there was anyone to see, found out he was seen the day before, she was curt and didn't try to help me find out if he was seen or what the problem was, she basically dismissed it as unimportant

Said she was worried about how much Tylenol I was taking sent me to the lab for a liver test she said then ordered a drug test and accused me of being a dope head because I forgot to mention on pill that a doctor that did my surgery in a different town put me on. Just acted like she had caught a red handed drug dealer well she can find someone else to lie to

Dr. Ewy and her staff are very courteous. but I switched from Dr. Ewy as my PCP due to the issues I had with the office. I had a cancer treatment and had to go off a maintenance med. Each time the hospital did lab work, the results were sent to her office and each time, a freaked-out nurse called me. Three times within a month, I had to explain my entire medical history to them over the phone because they had no idea of the meds I was on or the treatment I was having, even though I had told them all of it in appointments before, and in each phone call. Three times! The last two times I had an appointment, I waited for over an hour and one and a half hours because they had somehow lost me in the system. After these issues, I just don't feel I can trust them to handle my records competently. I'm kind of sad about this, because Dr. Ewy is one of the few doctors who has taken the time to listen and isn't dismissive of the patient's opinion.

I was with Dr. Ewy for numerous years & the quality of care went down hill as the years went on. Not only were my words misused but behind the scenes, from the nursing staff to the lab, it was well known that her practice was going down hill and she made no sense as far as her decision making went. Words were twisted, and I was made to look in poor light. This is a delayed review and all the good staff has now moved to different positions but me moving to a different dr. Was the best choice I could make, I must note that I was with her over 5 years, so it was a choice not easily made. If you'd like good, conscious, friendly care, go to Integrity Medicne. That's where the excellent docs have gone including the p.a.'s.i worked at the hospital for many years and knew the other side of the doctors that patients rarely see, trust me and be cautious. She's a good dr. As long as you agree with her and don't question her ideas and/or decisions. Patients must be proactive and ask her… questions as long as you aren't afraid of getting on her bad side. Be cautious!

I first meet Dr Ewy, during a brief stay at the Newton Mirror, I chose to keep her as a Dr, because she was part of my safety net. I was very grateful after this decision because I have had some pretty serious medical conditions that she has so gracelessly help with, or referred me to. I would recommend her for a family Dr with out a doubt!

Dr. Ewy is the most compassionate, genuine doctor I have ever known. She takes her time with you, listens, is thorough and follows up quickly. Her staff is the cherry on the sundae! They are awesome!!!

I see Dr. Ewy every 6 months. While it is relatively easy to get an appointment, appointments are almost always rescheduled one or more times prior to the appointment. Also forgets to send orders for required lab work so there is an extra wait (last time 1 hour).
