Dr. Drew Eugene Warnick, MD

I waited over a year to write this review. My daughter had osteochondritis dissecans in her knee. We live in Southwest Florida and the doctor we were seeing there did absolutely nothing for her and only allowed it to get worse. We received 3 different consults for her surgery and went with Dr. Warnick. Each doctor had a different approach but Dr. Warnicks was the least invasive. Best decision I have ever made. Took a long time to heal but that had nothing to do with him. My daughter recovered quickly post surgery. Dr. Warnick is great and I would definitely recommend him!

I dislocated my patella 2 years ago. I went to see Warnick after my 3rd dislocation after a doctor referred me to him for possible surgery, but my pain and problems were just dismissed and he said that he was "99.9 PERCENT sure that it was all in my head." On top of that, he manhandled my leg, causing me to break down in tears. After he bent my knee to the point where I couldn't take it, I said to him to get away from me and proceeded to have a break down. Instead of offering comfort, he threw his hands up and walked out of the room. While the staff were all very kind and sympathetic, this man was an arrogant and absolute jerk. I would never recommend ANYONE to see him. He is cocky and only thinks about himself.

Took my child to see Dr. Warnick for a recurring injury. We were told the same diagnosis by 3 other doctors, the last being a colleague of his at All Children’s. He told us they were all wrong. He was aggressive and wouldn’t stop talking, Even telling us how great he was because he had 6 years of schooling while his colleague was “just a pediatrician” with a year of ortho training. He then told us, in front of our teenage child, that it was psychiatric, which he said at least 4 times and we could barely get a word in. He was also very aggressive with my child during the exam because he didn’t believe there was an injury, who then broke down in tears. When I asked if the injury could be coming from another area like the hip he said he didn’t have all day for us. We were taken 30 minutes late and he spent 15 minutes with us. I’ve dealt with cardiac surgeons, neurosurgeons and highly regarded ortho surgeons, and none of them have been this disrespectful, arrogant or demeaning. … Bottom line: if your not a candidate for surgery you’re wasting his time.

First & last visit. Waited over an hour in waiting room and over 30 minutes in room to then see a rude, dismissive so-called doctor. MRIs showed issues. warnick said he wasn't positive he agreed with radiologist's report (and previous dr). He was dismissive of our concerns. I wish I'd seen reviews prior to wasting my time & my childs time. Worst dr I've ever seen.

Dr Warnick took the time to explain all options for my son's hip problem and made sure we understood everything. he spent at least 45 minutes with us even though he had other patients waiting. very grateful to him

Dr. Warnick casted my 13 month old son for a broken leg and before we left the office that day, he mentioned that we should call the office if our son had a fever, otherwise, he'd see us in 6 weeks to have the cast removed. I didn't think too much of his comment about the fever but had it in the back of my mind. One week later, our son wiggled his way out of his knee-high cast. I brought him into the office the next day and while they were recasting him, I mentioned in passing, that he had a low grade fever (99.0). I thought it was due to teething or a mild cold since his older siblings had a cold the week before. The staff decided to be safe and order another xray because I mentioned Dr. Warnick's warning about having a fever and my concerns. The xray showed signs of osteomyelitis (a bone infection). We were sent to All Children's Hospital for a Cat Scan and immediately admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics followed by four weeks of oral antibiotics. If Dr. Warnick had… not mentioned to watch for a fever, I would have never mentioned it to the doctors that day and my son's condition would have been a lot more severe when the infection was found. He would have needed surgery and would have become very ill. I'm very grateful for Dr. Warnick's expertise. He was very empathetic and patient with all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend him.

Excellent doctor. Saw him for two different injuries. Did a great job with both.

I had a referral to see him because they specialize in teens. Knee issues still persist after 3 months I brought MRI to him which was previously reviewed by an Orthopedic Radiologist. The report and MRI advises and shows visible issues with the knee. Dr Warnick said that the MRI was wrong and swelling symptoms should be much worse than they are. Hmmmm... not if is the issue is avascular!! In the mean time knee is very painful and clicking. Don't wast your time with this quack.

Dr. Warnick performed surgery on my son this past summer. He explained things well, made sure that we were comfortable. The day of surgery he was attentive to both our sons needs and our needs to know what was happening and timeframe. His time with us after surgery provided us a good understanding of things to come. I would recommend him to anyone.

He's the worst doctor I've ever been to. I play soccer, and can't move my knee AT ALL. He ordered an MRI, which came back clean. I went back today, and he told me that I was faking the pain. He literally said "Oh sweetie, Your not even in that much pain". All and all, he did not deserve his medical license. I can now not play soccer my senior year, because what was thought to be "nothing" ended up being a whole lot worse..
