Dr. Drory S Tendler, MD

Very annoyed! Had Dr appt for 8am Dr. not here and 3 people booked for same time slot! I walked out after waiting 45 minutes with no explanation from the office as to why he wasn't there. This was a first appt.

I understand that many of these specialists are in business to do procedures, and to prescribe powerful drug therapies. I feel Dr. Tendler is very knowledgeable with considerable expertise. In my case I was looking for causes and options to treat periodic A-Fib that had onsets a few months previous to my consult. I had no symptoms other than an erratic heart beat. His staff seemed put off by lucid questions, and as much as told me that "most patients do not ask questions, and are pleased to receive the procedure." My initial consult was short and I expected a follow up as the initial consult was absent of complete cardio records that were supposed to have been sent over to Dr. Tendler's location. Concurrent to the waiting and indignation from being scoffed at for wanting to ask questions I was told inaccurate information about my procedure. I cannot call them lies as I did not possess the information to ask the right questions. I began to read books and journals. I went to… a medical library with a subscriber. I'm not stupid, I have a Master's in Computer Sciences and undergraduate degree in math...l co-founded five tech companies. I discovered alternative options which were based on supplements, nutrition, and lifestyle change. After a few weeks I begain to notice that my A-Fib was gone on some days. I am now pursuing alternative treatments to simply having a "procedure" crammed down my throat.

Dr. Tendler is a Fabulous/ Honest/ Loyal/ Lovely doctor with a Awesome bedside matter. I can’t say enough about this man as a doctor & a lovely person( he always has a big smile on his face, how Wonderful)!!!!??He has been taking care of my Great Aunt for 2yrs now with also the surgery he performed for her Pacemaker. He was brought on board by her Fantastic Cardilogist Dr. Hojatti to assist in her care. These 2 God’s sent doctors definitely have saved her life, added years to her life that I didn’t think she would of had w/ congestive heart failure & all her symptoms. Dr. Tendler- have been by her side from day 1 of her becoming his Patient seen at Mercy Gilbert Hospital for candidate of a Pacemaker. She has had more than several hospital stays & this doctor has been there for us everytime she has been admitted at the hospital & he has came Day-n- night with rounding to see her at the hospital again on every single times!! Dr Tendler did an unnecessary procedure on me that caused scarring and much pain. All of the doctors I have talked to have been shocked at what he did. STAY AWAY. He was also very uncaring and did not bother to listen to me when I told him I could feel him cutting. I would sue him if I could.

Was seeing Dr. Tendler for my Afib in 2010/11. He's a great person, I always enjoyed talking with him. He did my first ablasion which was not successful but what bothered me was he never called to see how I was doing. I decided to move on and found Dr. Su out of Phoenix. After the first meeting with Dr Su I knew he was the right Dr for me. It was obvious that his skill level was much greater.

Waited 75 minutes for Dr. Tendler who then spent less than 5 minutes with me and provided no useful information about my condition. Instead of asking me questions, he would make statements that he would end with "right?" or "that's what's happening?" I suppose he expected me to agree as if he had some extraordinary mind-reading ability. He didn't get any of the statements correct and then ordered an unnecessary test that has nothing to do with my symptoms. He was so rushed that he had opened the door to leave before I could ask a single question.

Met Dr. Tendler in hospital after an episode at home and he was recommended. Wonderful bedside manner, a really caring doctor which is sometimes hard to find. Very knowledgeable...not a pill pusher.
