Dr. Dwight David Graham, MD

Dr Graham is the most responsive, communicative surgeon/physician our family has ever met. Our son may not have survived a bowel perforation if it hadn't been for Dr Graham's sense of urgency. Our son had been misdiagnosed with pneumonia, and Dr Graham acted immediately when told there was air showing in the gut portion of the same X-ray. He came to the hospital and performed a strenuous 6 hour emergency bowel resection, the timing of which allowed our son to dodge sepsis. Over the next several weeks' recovery, Dr Graham stayed a part of the recovery team and continued to research and reach out to GI colleagues in order to try to find a cause for the unexplained perforation as well as helping us to find the best hospitals and GI doctors to help with the long term nutritional needs for our son's total recovery and return to his normal everyday 2-year-old life. The care, compassion, and continued involvement beyond surgery from Dr Graham is far and above the care expectations of a… surgeon. He's a surgeon who treated our son as if he were his own. Cannot say enough about this amazing physician!
