I had a right knee replacement about 8 weeks ago and my knee pain is minimal and can walk with no cane. He is an excellent surgeon that takes his time to discuss your particular care. I haven't had any complications. I plan on having my left knee replaced by Dr. kolb.

Knee replacement surgery was done 1 year ago, still have pain and also numbness from my knee 1/2 way down my leg. Every time I saw him he took an x-Ray & told me give it time it will be fine, come back in 6 weeks. I’d go back, the same routine & comments (he’d spend about 5 min. then go). The 3rd time I said no to the x-ray & just saw him, but it was the same 5 min. This went on for 5 months. I stopped seeing him. He had no idea why my leg was numb so there was no point in paying him more for the same answers & routine. He didn’t even try to figure out what was wrong.

Dr Kolb and his staff are tremendous. I had both hips replaced in 2012 and am completely pain free. I would rate Dr Kolb as the best Orthopedic Surgeon in Central Illinois.

The office staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I feel that the Doctor was very kind to me. He tried to explain things to me so I would understand. X-rays were taken right there in the office.Dr Kolb's PA was very kind too.
