Dr. Edward Paul Hargus, MD

Dr. Hargus has a great sense of humor and shows it frequently, add that to his compassion, years of experience, and his wonderful communication skills and you have a really really good doctor! He works to find the right treatment to relieve pain and truly cares.

A very good doctor, who will & has gone above, and beyond to help, when other doctors have not. Very straight forward re; your condition(s) he does listen to what you are telling him, (myself) he has at many times, done more for me than a primary care has. re; tests, listening, giving me a honest oppinion (a good thing) telling me @ my condition's. does not give just a med to you, and stop trying to help, or give up on you ever! never says, it "may work" finds the right medicine, does not leave you with a million questions, and does not give meds that are not needed ever...(even nurses call to check on patients, they have w/me to see how things are working) Dr. Hargus listens if there are any problems with anything (side effects, etc... he will never just ignore your symptoms/problems, which can be rare with some doctors. Im very glad i was referred to him 5/6yrs ago. (after many surgeries,& a chronic condition, that takes its toll on you)and as ive said, he does care and listen to his… patients, and is upfront about any medical problems, and always does his best to make you understand, spends the time needed if any questions neeed to be answered. The staff is really very nice, they take the time to get to know you, and also care. Instead of making you feel uncomfortable, or a bother, if you call. They help so much, if any insurance issues pop up, or change, and they also keep you informed, no matter what, ive never been told to call my insur. co. to, work out any problems,(which ive been told to do by other doct.) They know the patients that show for appts. with Dr. Hargus. they listen as they see you prior & ask if any problems, how you feel, prior to Dr. coming in room. I have no negative to say about Dr. Hargus, or the staff, just wish my doctors referred me much earlier, instead of waiting, maybe to long? There are many great doctors/surgeons/primary care, etc...Dr. Hargus, i beleive in my expierence is 1. Has been helpful, and i would say a very good, honest doctor, that takes his patients seriously.
