The NCMB issued a Public Letter Of Concern for Dr Edward Bednar in 2025 The medical board has every right to be concerned The public should take it seriously from my experience with him as a former patient.

I absolutely love Julie!! She is such a pleasure to be around. She is GREAT at what she does. I have all ways felt at ease with her! Such a fantastic addition to Dr Bednar’s staff.

I arrived for my appointment early and was checked in. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant. Bettina came and got me and put numbing cream on my face and we waited for it to take effect. She made sure I was comfortable giving me a pillow for my neck. We talked during the procedure about my daily regimen, and she recommended for me to add retinol. She also explained a couple other procedures that I am interested in. I've been going to Dr. Bednar's office for years and the staff is always welcoming, and the services have always been great.

I did not have a procedure with Dr. Bednar, but I had a phone consultation and joined his Facebook group for a time for breast fat transfer. I ultimately decided not to go through with it, because he said he wouldn’t be able to achieve the results I was looking for with the areas I wanted fat harvested. The reason I’m leaving a good review is because I think being a surgeon that is transparent and valuing quality results over “cash grabbing” is extremely important, and one of the first things I noticed about Dr. Bednar. He seems to really care about delivering quality over quantity. He spent a long time talking with me about all the details of the procedure and was very thorough. I was also very impressed with the extensive array of patients on his Facebook site, and I like that he showed negative posts as well as positive posts for his patients. I really shows a confidence in his skill, which appears to be unmatched as in the fat transfer realm, and a commitment to working with the… patient rather than against them.

I was blocked from the Facebook group for asking questions so I believe that they have probably censored a lot of patients as others have stated. Not sure why he would require censorship if he was as good as he says. I canceled my surgery since I was blocked. Now I see his real self account is suspended so there is something shady with this doctor.

Beware The administrators of the Facebook page controls what is being said on the page and doesn’t allow unhappy customers to report their negative experiences many have wasted their money on this doctor.

Dr. Bednar is a personable, highly respectful surgeon. He was informative and willing to help me understand all points of the surgery, as well, all facets of recovery. He and his staff are so helpful and kind. He is wonderful surgeon and I highly recommend him for his skill level and professionalism.

dr Bednar has truly turned back the time on my face. his honest and superb technique has created a very natural look. he performed a facelift on me a few years ago and I have been using other non surgical options for maintenance. he is one of the few docs in town that performs injections-anybody else delegates to staff or they jack up the price if the doctor does do the injections. I have sent several of my friends to him, and they all love him. I hope he never retires!!!

When choosing the right cosmetic surgery doctor, specially when you are not only out-of-town, but you also live overseas, a lot of research and planning goes into finding the best provider. My husband and I feel that the effort has paid off. Dr. Bednar and his team truly care about their patients, and that showed from the moment we contacted his office. From his very nice assistant Sylvia, who did a great job communicating with us, and answering any initial questions we had, to talking to Dr. Bednar directly over a Skype consultation, we were pleased to confirm that w1e have done the right choice for these procedures. After arriving in Charlotte for the pre-op, we had the pleasure to meet Ashley C. Now, one word describes this nurse: awesome! She is a person who really loves taking care of others, she is a natural, and truly loves her job. Looking forward to the surgery that took place 2 days after, everything went extremely well, and Dr. Bednar was very pleased on how the procedures… turned out. That was exciting news for us, knowing that he is a perfectionist. The results are amazing! His artistic background is very visible, and their support for patients in undeniable. If we ever had any questions, doubts about instructions, or anything pertaining to the procedures, Dr. Bednar, Sylvia or Ashley were always there. And for us, that is priceless. I highly recommend Dr. Bednar for the natural approach that involves fat transfers. This is his passion, and you won't be disappointment. I am so happy with the results, and I do look forward to the future. I was a 34C, and I am 2 Cups Up now. Congratulations if you are searching for the right doctor. You have found him!

I had a full face lift, neck lift, fat transfer, & upper blephtoplasty. After consulting with a couple other plastic surgeons in the area I chose Dr. Bednar. I was nervous about looking "pulled" & unnatural. Dr. Bednar reassured me that I would look like myself, but without the sagging jowls & neck. His staff assured me that Dr. Bednar's patients look totally natural with a refreshed appearance. Two weeks after the surgery during the healing process I can honestly say, I regretted my decision to have the work done. BUT....now after five weeks after my surgery, my husband & I think it was a great decision, & I am VERY HAPPY I had the facelift!!! I look like myself again but without the wrinkles. Dr. Bednar used his artistic abilities to achieve the results I had hoped for. I recommend this gifted surgeon. You will not be disappointed!
