Dr. Edward Perry Langlow, MD

Arrived for 2.30 appointment and seated in waiting room with A/C filters hanging from ceiling allowing unfiltered air to be circulated. At 3.15 taken to back room and told to stay until examining room available. At 3.30 aked employee why appt at 2.30 and not seen at 3.30. Then Langlow baged in and said he owned his equipment (which appeared old and dated) but I could be first patient at 8AM in future. I said that would be fine. He left and at 3.45 returned and said this is your last visit .He then said my pressures were 13 and 12 but on my first visit said they would be four points less or 10 and nine. I said fine by me. This guy was rude and abrasive as well as unable to produce the results promised.l. I then left the office.

He treated my family member with such rudeness several weeks ago. He was so appalled. He said years ago he wasn't like that at all. He said he will no longer cares to see this version of what this doctor is now too bad I hope he realizes this is 2020 and people no more will just take bad treatment from a physician or anyone else for that matter!

This is the first review of a doctor I have written, and I am doing so because I was appalled by Dr. Langlow’s treatment of me during a recent appointment. In response to my few questions, he was rudely brief and off-putting. I felt more like a child in the presence of a dismissive adult than a senior-citizen patient in a professional setting. In all my years of interacting with doctors this was the only time I have encountered such humiliating behavior. I was referred to this ophthalmologist or a second opinion regarding suspected glaucoma. After a short introduction, Dr. Langlow stepped out of the room, and while waiting, I studied a large picture-diagram of the eye on the wall. It identified many details but did not point to the location of the retina. So, when Dr. Langlow returned, I asked if the retina was at the back of the eye, to which he replied: “I’m not going to answer that question. You can easily google it. But, after testing, I will tell you everything you want to… know about your eyes.” I was stunned by this response. After testing, he told me I had a blind spot in my left eye and some scarring on its retina but would not answer any questions I had. He said, “you have an appointment to get to and I need to eat lunch.” I replied that I thought he was unbelievable. In the end, I had to ask the tech at the front desk whether or not I had glaucoma. He may be an expert, but I’ve had better treatment at a car wash than I did from him, which is inexcusable in my opinion.

Very rude. Impatient. Go find a caring doctor

Professional skills are outstanding. Have two previous experiences with other opthomologists. Dr. Langlow is excellent. He spends the time to talk through serious issues with him..

Dr. Langlow is a caring, smart doctor. If you have glaucoma, you need to see Dr. Langlow. He is a specialist and he has helped to preserve my sight.

Dr. Langlow is an excellent doctor. He spent alot of time with me explaining my condition. His staff is extremely friendly and courteous.
