I hope that whoever reads this review, whether it be Dr. Miranda`s staff or potential new patients, knows that I`m not a bitter or vindictive person. I just want to let other potential patients know
I was terribly disappointed in Dr. Miranda. He promised to work with us on the billing and his response was \"no response\" and threatening us with collection. I was confused and couldn`t believe his
I saw the doctor for a reconstructive issue, not something cosmetic. He was running late and the first thing he did was sincerely apologize to me when he came into the consult room. He is a good listener, very courteous, did not talk down to me, offered me several options and took his time answering all of my questions and addressing my concerns. The staff was polite, attentive and accommodating. My only "criticism" is that the space needs some art work and bigger coffee tables in the waiting room!
Not notified upon office visit of being out of the Anthem Blue Cross PPO network. The office claimed to have emailed this information prior to my visit. Front desk receptionist failed to.mention any
To Dr Miranda, I am sorry. I hoped that you would contact me after writing the review. The bill went to hastily to collections.Collections stopped contacting me so I don`t know if it was taken out of
Had Dr. Miranda as the on call doctor for CPMC ER for a laceration above the eye sustained while playing basketball last fall. ER experience was professional and he did a good job on the eye.Unfortunately that is where the good experience ended. Found out afterwards that he was an out of network doctor (How did this happen and why was I not told this when I asked at CPMC that this would be covered?), and after several rounds with insurance was denied coverage.DOUBLE insult that Dr. Miranda's bill had multiple double charges, and grossly over inflated charges for a 30 minute procedure (bill was over $5,000) which was then sent to collections while I was still in process with insurance and state of CA. Blue Shield list price is $1500 for the same procedure.Ended up paying to collections as Dr. Miranda's office would not help on any fronts other than to punt me back to my insurance carrier (which they did not recognize or belong to). Even though several of the charges were clearly doubled and erroneous.Avoid at all costs. Medical care is painful enough without being extorted on the back side.

Choosing a plastic surgeon isn`t an easy thing to do especially when having a bit of phobic about getting cosmetic procedures. I believe that a good cosmetic surgeon should be able to make their
I developed a facial cyst on my jaw at the end of 2010 and around Jan 2011 it got infected. A very good friend of mine who had several procedures done with Dr. Miranda highly recommended I see Dr.
Dr. Miranda was the on-call doctor when we took our son to the CPMC ER due to a terrible laceration on his face, and as we were going through the awful experience of getting his face stitched up and
Dr. Miranda is my hero! I was told in the emergency room that I would likely lose my finger and maybe more. Dr. Miranda performed surgery late into the night to remove the infected tissue and save
I like Dr.Miranda because he takes very good care of me He is also very nice.
In a nutshell, I got sewed up by the doc. Then his billing folks apparently sent the bill to the wrong address and then instead of asking me about that via email, phone, or through my lawyer, they
It`s been over a year since my tummy tuck surgery and I couldn`t be happier with the results. I did have some dog-earing but Dr. Miranda took care of it with a revision procedure in office yesterday.
Dr. Miranda has helped me over the past few years on a variety of issues and he is caring, thoughtful and quite precisely the best. I am in the medical industry myself, and when you know a lot of
Some businesses do take their reviews seriously. Dr. Miranda is one of them. After reading my review he called to try to make this right, as he was unaware of all of the drama that had occurred
I had Dr. Miranda performed a minor cosmetic procedure on me about a year ago. In the consultation appointment, we discussed the pros and cons of the surgery and the technique he chose to perform. I
I don`t like Dr. Miranda for two reasons. I know he didn`t give me the most ideal treatment plan and he overcharges .For our first consultation I waited for over an hour to see Dr. Miranda. He saw me
Dr. Miranda was on call for the CPMC ER when my son came in with a terrible, deep, jagged laceration on his face. He was so appropriate interacting both with my son 3 yo and comprehensive and
Money is the only motivator here
Dr. Miranda is a professional for whom I have the highest regard. After seriously injuring my hand on a broken glass, I was referred to Dr. Miranda by my attending ER physician. Dr. Miranda`s
Dr. Miranda is one of the worst plastic surgeon in the Bay Area. He is so unexperienced (do not trust his web site) and uses his patients as guinea pigs. I got sucked in when I read about his teachings in Asia on his site and all....but I regret I let him perform plastic surgery on me. One of my regrets in life. So, do yourself a favor and avoid this dr. quack.
After having three 7 lb babies in my 20s, I was determined to make my 30s a mission to get my body back! After much begging and pleading to my husband and working out like a madwoman with no success…
I usually don`t like going to hospitals for whatever reason, but I had a cyst on my face for years and after millions of people telling me to get rid of it ASAP i finally took the time to get it done!
I went to see Dr. Miranda for a small procedure to be done in his office. After seeking his advice regarding my issue, Dr. Miranda, who was very busy in the operating room, advised me that we needed…
When I told Dr. Miranda that I was having a blurry vision the night after receiving eyelid surgery from him in Sep. 2008, he told me the vision problem was due to my age ("it's a part of the aging…
Dr. Miranda is a caring, experienced and skilled surgeon. His office staff are excellent and responsive.
I chose to have a bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty (upper eyelid surgery) from Dr. Edward Miranda in Sep. 2008. I chose him as he represented himself as an expert eyelid surgeon, specializing in Asian eyelids. At the consultation, he answered all of my questions, i.e. possible side-effects, the possibility of achieving my desired look, etc. Since I already had double-eyelids, he said this would be a very simple procedure; take out the excessive fat and some skin. Simple, he said. Well, here are what's been happening to me since the post-op: 1) lagophthalmos of the right eye (inability to close the eye) 2) spam of the obicularis oris muscle, causing pain around the eye socket and head 3) asymmetry of the eyes; my right eye looks much smaller because the location of the crease so much inferior when compared to the Left 4) left over fat deposit on the right eye 5) can't close my eyes without my eyelids and eyeballs shaking uncontrollably. What's the worst part? After spending $$ (surgery seeing specialists after the surgery), my eyes no longer match. I still get makeup residue on my upper eyelids. Just lots of pain (both emotionally & physically). He doesn't seem to care. I called to cancel the follow-up appointment because I was in too much pain. He never called to inquire about my well being. *AVOID* this doctor. Don't go through what I'm going through...
I have had nothing but a positive experience with Dr. Miranda. He is both pleasant and professional beyond his years and I would recommend him as a surgeon to any of my friends and family. Further,…
Patient BEWARE!!! Dr. Miranda's ethics are not what you would want in a Dr. He is money hungry, offensive, demeaning and hostile.
I am not the type to write reviews but I am sooo happy with my results that I have to write this. Dr. Edward Miranda came highly recommended by my friend who had her tummy tuck and lipo done by him. I…
I've got to say that Dr. Miranda is the best surgeon in the Bay Area! I went to see a few other plastic surgeons in consultation and none of them made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Miranda. I later…
