Dr. Edward R Prins, MD

Dr. Prins has been my primary care physician for 30 years. An absolute fantastic doctor and a truly wonderful person! So grateful he is my doctor!!

Dr. Prins has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. In that time, he has diagnosed several conditions that I had, and directed me to the precise specialists to treat my ailments. In at least one case, as it turned out, I believe he saved my life. He listens! He is compassionate, understanding and always upbeat. I look forward to seeing him for my annual checkups, and anytime I have a problem.

Horrible medical practice. Withheld extremely important medical information from me, especially in regards to tests results. Told me I didn't have Lyme disease despite having a positive test result and then reporting that result to the CDC. Also, told me I had a regular heart beat when I actually have sinus tachycardia and POTS. Additionally, completely ignored my positive test result for Mycoplasma pneumoniae. When I had my my records transferred to a new primary care physician I found out about all the information witheld from me.

Although he may be a good doctor I agree with the review that the person says he calls and gives you your results and when you ask him to explain what it is he says he has to many calls to make. Then he wants you to get more lab work done and when he calls with the results he says he cannot talk because he is with a patient. Instead of him saying I will call you back to discuss he just hangs up. So I guess he not as good as everyone thinks he is.

Dr. Prins has been my primary care physician for 20 years. I felt compelled to write a review because his amazing accurate diagnosis of medical problems SAVED MY LIFE TWICE. He is also compassionate, friendly and thorough every time I have seen him. You couldn't ask for a better doctor.

We have been going to Summit Medical formerly Forest Ave Medical since before 1987. The location is an hour away but we feel they are more through and knowledgeable than doctors in the area which we live.

dr prins is my primary and I feel that he is at the highest level of professional Care. He is excellent. And I feel that he is part of my medical team that has Provided me with excellent treatment.

Dr. Ed, Is one of the finest Drs. that you could want to meet!

Dr. Prins is compassionate and extremely knowledgable. He spends time with you and asnwers your questions. He makes recommedations of what might be your ailment. He is one of the best PCP's I've encountered. Cetain office staff, such as Nina are extremely patient, helpful, and compassionate

Our experience with Dr. Prins is wonderful. However, I/we cannot say the same for his referral person(female). When my husband said he wanted to have his CT and MRI at a radiology center in Waldwick, which we have both used for years, she became more than obstinate-absolutely disrespectful and nasty would be a better description of her behavior. If my husband is to continue with Dr. Prins, we will give this person another chance to have a different attitude. We were going to report her behavior to him but decided to wait for future developments.
