Dr Edward Yeomans

Dr Yeomans was an excellent doctor. I saw him throughout my pregnancy which was high risk. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his patients. At my first visit he gave me his personal cell number and was quick to answer any text or call at any time. I was truly blessed to have had Dr Yeomans for my pregnancy. He made a very scary situation less scary and manageable.

After diagnosing my son with a very life threatening condition at 22 weeks gestation, he told me he would suggest abortion because. But he told me it was too late in the pregnancy to abort so he suggest I deliver in Lubbock and just hold my son until he died. He did not offer to help us transfer to a hospital with higher level of care or anything of that sort. My husband and I disagreed with his statements and got a transfer to Texas Children’s Hospital right away. We had two fetal surgeries on my son that completely saved his life. And after spending nearly 7 months in the NICU at Texas Children’s hospital he was able to come home! He is now a 2 1/2 year old who lives life to the fullest and is very healthy. So thankful we did not settle for this doctors opinion.

Had spotting at 9 and a half weeks. Called in and was told to “pull myself off the ceiling and try and relax, this was common in multiples. And I didn’t need to be seen unless I had cramping or bleeding heavier than a period and not to modify my activity level.” I asked if it could be a hematoma (I’d had one in a previous pregnancy) and was told it was “unlikely”. Fast forward 2 weeks later. Spotting again and came in, had a hematoma and lost 2 of my triplets. Also called another drs idea of how to keep me from losing the one “Wacko”, at least he was trying something. Very unprofessional. tWhat happened to checking a patient at least for their reassurance. Bleeding in any pregnancy should be checked and especially a high risk patient. Not impressed with patient care and time spent with patient. Transferred drs and had thorough exams and over 30 minutes spent with me each visit versus the 5 with him.

Dr. Yeomans is an excellent doctor and knows his specialty very well. I would highly recommend him. Cares for his patients.

Dr. Yeomans is the best high risk dr in Lubbock not only all over the world He have helped with all 5 of my pregnancies and Ik working with me was and is a challenge but he get the job did evertime to has ever done it, he's THE BEST Anyone who get him as a dr is blessed too have him I love him soo much

Dr. Yeomans is simply not one of the best to has ever done it, he's THE BEST. I was a VERY high risk patient, and I know working with me challenged his expertise in more ways than one. With the help of God this man saved my life and that of my baby girl, who was born Jan 19, 2018. Dr. Yeomans is an angel in disguise, who is very passionate about what he does. If I do have another baby, I wouldn't consider anyone else.

I wasnt his patient but treated me like i was .. he delivered my twin girls with no problem which i was supposed to have a c section by my doctor for no reason and dr yeomans delivered them vaginally .... best doctor ever!!
