This Man is a no talent hack who has operated on me twice due to their being no other choice at the VA at times. His mass removal on my chest was done so poorly the folks at the Cleveland Clinic asked if I had done it myself! I told them if I had done it, it would look far better than it did. they said he made no effort to avoid damage and nerve damage which is why I have no feeling in my right nipple....avoid this guy like the plague!

Dr. Gaar comes off has a pompous jerk, he's rude to the staff at the VA as well as the veterans though is very cozy with the resident physicians. I watched nurses and therapists grit a bear his abusive behavior and manage to come put on a some at the bedside which I applauded and was the best part of the experience at the bedside.

Dr. Gaar does work for the Louisville VA which is a teaching hospital. I never did get to meet him as I was out of it when he came by. I was always checked by the staff at the Louisville VA who have been great. I am having some problems with the surgery, the VA is trying to find out what's wrong. Overall the surgery was a great success.
