Dr. Eldon Gerald Hopkins, MD

My first appointment with Dr. Eldon Hopkins was on November 1, 2022. Upon entering the room he shook my hand, something the previous four surgeons did not! He was the only one who requested that I be x-rayed during my visit. who immediately commented and was pleased that I had decided to have surgery! He doesn't ask me about my weight, he doesn't comment on my body mass index, which the other four said was an obstacle for me to have surgery! They literally refused my hip replacement until I lost weight! You can hardly lose weight with the terrible pain you have and when your BMI becomes 30 we will operate on you! My surgery took place on January 25, 2023, lasted 115 min without problems, no blood transfusion. The next morning he visited me in the hospital room and told me how bad the condition of my joint was and how satisfied he was that he helped me! I told him that is my savior not only with his professionalism, but also with his kindness and cordiality! I highly recommend him to… everyone. which need surgical and orthopedic treatment

I have had hip problems since I was a teenager. I have had multiple surgeries during my teenage years and my problem was never solved. I met Dr. Hopkins and he did one hip replacement and a few years later replaced the other. The second surgery was a challenging situation and he conquered it. I recommended him to my brother and he had a knee replacement and we are both doing well. I would recommend Dr. Hopkins to anyone.

I’ve had both hips replaced by the good doctor. Dr. Hopkins explanation of the needs and the procedure gave me full confidence in the success of the surgeries. Dr. Hopkins follow up on my recovery was great. You can’t do better than Dr. Hopkins, as well as his staff. Great experience.

We found Dr Hopkins very personable and very willing to explain my husband's knee problems in a way that was easy to understand. Since my husband needed as much knee reconstruction as replacement, I felt we found just the right surgeon to perform a more complicated surgery. We could not believe how quickly my husband's recovery has been and we believe a lot stems from Dr. Hopkin's expertise.

I had total knee replacement 3 months ago and feel wonderful. Dr. Hopkins and his entire staff take the time to explain all the steps along the way and are always available for questions. They truly care about your progress and couldn't be nicer and truly vested in your recovery. You can't get better than Dr. Hopkins!!

When my original/previous doctor decided to not accept my insurance, I had to find a new one. Dr. Hopkins was my first call and I liked what I heard from the office staff; made an appointment and from the minute he walked into the examination room, I had confidence in him. Now after two knee replacements and excellent results on both, I trusted him to operate on my wife and she has had even better results than me. Dr. Hopkins is always trying to improve his procedure. I recommend him highly.

My experience with Dr. Hopkins and his staff has been great. He explains each procedure before he starts surgery and follows up afterwards to make sure your experience is a good one. I would recommend using Dr. Hopkins anytime, great experience.

Finding Dr. Hopkins for my hip replacement was a true blessing. He is such a knowledgeable and caring surgeon. He truly is a master of his craft! He was so patient and spent a lot of time answering my questions, was always very thorough, and genuinely cares about the safety and recovery of his patients. As I said, he has been a real blessing!
