Dr. Elise Michelle Brett, MD

The staff at the front desk (who has ben there for years engages in conduct that has forced me to file a complaint with NYS Office of Professional Medical Conduct. You may get an accurate diagnosis but you'd never succeed with any necessary follow up because of the front desk misconduct. I would advise against this office as a result.

Dr. Brett is an outstanding, patient doctor. She listens and is extremely informative about all procedures as well as the results. I was also able to see her as quickly as possible. Special thanks to the assistant who helped me obtain the appointment. I am grateful to her, and I highly recommend Dr. Brett.

Dr Brett is very attentive and extremely sharp. She can diagnose and treat all my post menopausal disorders. She knows the best meds for the latest conditions related to diabetes 2 common to post menopausal women and takes special care of us. A great academic and great doctor.

Listen to this story. Sandy, practice assistant, was my initial contact and she immediately remedied my issues. Having just lost my wallet with ID/insurance etc., Sandy squeezed me in on the same day and expedited the intake process. Thrilled not to fill out those forms in the waiting room, I could forecast that Dr. Brett would interview me. So I prepared and wrote a quick note, ie. my history, lifestyle habits, drug dosages etc. to be concise. Dr. Brett listened with a "third ear," analyzed, took notes, diagnosed, summarized three times in teaching me. My first consultation lasted 30 minutes. Proficient and professional practice.

As a friend Of over 13 years and now an employee I can’t express the respect I have for dr brett. Her care she has and time she gives to her patience all doctors should have and they don’t. Even if someone runs in she will make the time (as I remind her to eat she doesn’t thank god for peanut butter ) all I can say the respect for dr brett has grown more and more. She appreciates each patient and cares so much

Dr. Brett is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor she reversed my diabetes carefully monitors my cholesterol and thyroid disorders and is always concerned an incredible doctor.

Front desk 100% incompetent and 200% unpleasant

Dr. Brett was very rude and condescending during my entire visit. She didn't greet me and barely made eye contact. She reprimanded me for not being clear about my medication dose, even though I was trying to explain myself and didn't know all of the information she needed. She drew my blood while she was on a call and due to the abruptness of the needle going in my arm, she rolled my vein and I bruised, which has never happened before when I've had blood drawn. She also refused to look at some of my lab work because it was ordered by a functional doctor. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with my visit - I felt disrespected and left the office feeling really frustrated. Also, the receptionist was very rude and did not welcome me into the office. She made me feel like I was intruding and that my being there was an inconvenience, even though I had an appointment that I made a month earlier. Terrible experience and I won't be back. Please learn how to treat your patients with respect and care… - no doctors office should treat people the way I was treated.

Doctor Brett had been excellent provider for many years, including annual visits and one operation coordination with a surgeon.

Dr. Brett was very to the point with no bedside manner. This did not bother me initially as I felt she had a good beat on what was going on. Once it came to confirming they received my test results the receptionist Sandy was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful and told me to “stop calling that they are very busy” insisting I called several times that day, I called twice for a confirmation receipt since they did not receive it initially. The follow up Telehealth call with Dr. Brett was very rushed and I was told she needs to get off the phone to see other patients. I left the call with many unanswered questions which could of easily been resolved with a scheduled office visit.
