Dr. Elise Joy Zahn, DO

The same as all reviews above - she cut me off in such a rude manner and didn't get the critical history that would have helped her make a diagnosis. Why is she treating humans? With this "bedside manner" she would make a better vet! I was mentioning this to my nurse and she whispered "I'm scared of her". She discharged me after ruling out a couple of important things but didn't send me with meds to treat the problems I came in with.

My wife went to the 24/7 standalone ER in Riverview because of complications with an operation she had undergone 2 weeks prior. When Zahn asked what was the reason for the visit, my wife began by telling her about the surgery she had just had. Zahn rudely cut her off and said "I don't want to hear about 2 weeks ago. I only want to hear what's happening right now." Nevermind that the surgery she had undergone 2 weeks prior was THE most crucial and relevant bit of information. And there was no excuse for the impatience on Zahn's part. The ER was empty at the time. No one in the waiting room. There was maybe one other patient in the whole ER. Dr. Zahn just didn't want to hear from her patient at all. She was much more interested in hearing the sound of her own voice. Went to another ER the following day and my wife was admitted and in the PCU for a week because her situation was that serious. She's now scheduled to have a revision surgery to fix the problem. Dr. Zahn completely failed to… help because she was too full of herself. People like that have no business practicing medicine.

Worst “so called doctor” I’ve had the misfortune of encountering. Just another one that got into medicine for the pay. No care or regard for patient. Worst experience!

I was in the ER and out with a prescrition and work note in no time. Great visit.
