Dr. Elizabeth Ann Gernhardt, DO

Extremely arrogant, and very condescending! Horrible personality and treats everyone terribly. She thinks she’s an absolute know it all. Loves to talk about herself.

My mother is dead because of this woman's horrible care. Months before her death she exhibited symptoms and it was written off. She should have been screened for so much more based on her medical history. If you are a patient of hers ask for her differential diagnosis to any concerns and advocate for yourself before it is too late. Also when the coroner called to get her records the doctor was being extremely withholding and rude to them and wanted the body transferred to her for some reason? The coroner's office expressed that they've never had an interaction like this with a doctor and it was suspicious. Please for your health or your loved ones health don't go to this doctor. I wish she would get her license taken away. I'm thinking of requesting her medical records so I can get more answers and I'm sure I'll get one heck of a fight but I'm ready for it. Get this woman out of medicine!!

TERRIBLE DOCTOR AND SHOULD HAVE HER LICENSE TAKEN AWAY IMMEDIATELY!!!!! She tried to provoke me into a fight screaming in my face while being very sick that she was doing her job and that she is sick too and sees doctors for herself! I never told her she wasn’t doing her job but was just getting worse! Never have I EVER seen a doctor act in this manner! It was unbelievable and wish it were recorded. I am in shock! COMPLETE PSYCHO!!!!!

I left my Doctor of 20 years because I heard so many good things about Dr. Gernhardt. Boy was I in for a surprise. She's scared to death to prescribe anything for you and always refers you to a specialist. Yes, it is true she will sit and listen and tell you her life story, but don't ever try to disagree or ask any questions concerning your care or medication. She will belittle and scold you if you question her on a condition or a medication. I'm in the process of finding a better-qualified PCP who isn't afraid to do whats' necessary to treat me.

She treats you like you mean nothing to her, yells, and isnt very nice! she cut off my GERD medication because i was working and couldnt make an appointment. Why is she a doctor???!

Dr Elizabeth Gernhardt doesn't return phone calls. We have been calling for 2 weeks regarding my Dad's status is rehab and has been there for 3+ months. We need to make plans for his move home or assisted living. She is my Dad's primary care doctor and has been for years, yet she refuses to respond. I suggest you find another doctor if you care about yourself or your loved ones.

Not a nice person. Mean to all including patients and staff.

my first visit with her went fine. however it didn't take long to notice how rude and ignorant her staff could be when discussing other patients in private matters in the open. the more time I spent with the doctor the more flippant and erratic her behaviour seemed to be. Some appointments would pleasant and to the point. Some would be long and filled with juicy stories about people I didn't care to know. She would sometimes change from a compassionate, caring, and helpful doctor and suddenly display a cold and downright vindictive demeanor the instant you challenge or question her. It was so weird!

I am a healthcare worker and trust me if I saw a doctor treat any of my patients like she treated me I would of stood right up for them. She will tell and scream at you and doesn't care about patient privacy. She should see a psychiatrist.
