Dr. Ella Noel, DO

I have gone to her since I was a teen, my mother goes to her still. She has a major attitude almost all of the time, I know she has many heath issues, but when she has so much crossover it is unprofessional. She consistently has to be suggested a diagnosis, it is like I am the physician. I have brought up possible problems and she has literally said "oh yeah that sounds right" I am thinking, What?!? seriously? A family member went to her and was so tired all the time, she had to go to her probably 10 times for exhaustion with no answers to what it might be. She had only one visit with a doctor in florida and he immediately said I want a blood test for your thyroid, and that is what it had been all along. You would think as an internist that suggestion would have come to mind, it is pretty common. I had a very private problem that was terribly sad and incurable, and also very embarrassing. As I was leaving she announced it loudly to the entire waiting room as she was talking to me, I… was so embarrassed and she was totally oblivious to everyone seated out there. She has a bad attitude every time I go, and I won't be going back. She had seen me for years and still questioned my motives when I had been in a terrible accident and broken my back, ribs and sternum, separated my shoulder... it was a really bad accident lots of bruises and cuts. The hospital has a policy of giving five days of medicine and no more; because they want you to get it from your doctor. I was broken and bruised and when I went to the doctor a few days after I got out of the hospital and she refused to give me any medicine. She acted like I was a drug addict even though I had just been in a wreck where I had been unconscious for 2 hours and had 5 broken bones.I had never asked for any kind of pain pills ever before, she refused. I don't think you could get much more uncaring than she acted, it was far less about the medicine than her attitude and the attitude I received afterwords. I had been unhappy with her for a long time but after all this, I am not interested in seeing her again. I have too many stories to tell really, I do not know why I haven't found a new doctor years ago (it's so hard to find a good doctor), I have finally decided enough is enough. Do not go there, it will save you putting up with her unsympathetic incompetence.

went to dr noels PA stephanie beck for trouble sleeping. she put me on paxil. is that the common rx for help sleeping? after a month I told her I didnt like the way it made me feel, gave me a real i don't care attitude, made me mean ect... her response was for me to get more paxil at a higher dose. after I told her I didnt want the paxil didnt like the way it made me feel. i told her i felt like i was spiriling out of control, I wanted to try something more mild, that i didnt have to take everyday she told me that drug addicts ask for stuff more mild and if i didnt want the paxil i would get nothing at all and she more or less escorted me out of the office. I will not be going back, and i feel much better not taking the paxil. i will be filing a complaint with promedica about their PA. I am not a drug addict of any kind, I didnt even take my pain meds when i dislocated my shoulder. I didnt like the way they tried to shove the paxil down my throat for trouble sleeping. BEWARE OF THIS… OFFICE... ALL THEY WANNA DO IS SELL PILLS.

I have been with Dr. Noel's office for several years now. She is wonderful. I have called her when traveling away from home and she was compassionate and quick to return my call.Admittedly, the office staff sometimes are a little abrupt but they ARE efficient and that's what really matters. I typically get a warm welcoming smile when I arrive and a nice smile when I leave. I don't need to be entertained in between!!I'm there for the medical help. I get all I need. I love the PA's. I love Dr. Noel. All is good.

Dr. Noel has been our family doctor for almost 20 years. She has help us and been there for us in the deaths of my mom, my sister and my daughter. She has stay with us after their deaths held us as we cryed and even cryed with us. I could have never asked for a beter docotor then what Dr. Noel is. Her stuff is the best. God bless Dr. Noel and her staff.

Went to see her recently and it was like we were wasting her time. She came in with an attitude; like a bull in a china shop. Wanted an opinion on a possible surgery & and she wanted nothing to do with my situation. Will be looking for a new doctor.

She has been our doctor for about 5 years now, and I am switching to another physician, NOT in promedica. Everytime I call to get my medicine refills, I get an attitude. I call to get an appointment, I get an attitude. I'm there, I get an attitude. The staff with the exception of one nurse, are all rude, and Dr. Noel doesn't act like she cares anything about whats wrong.

I really appreciate how Dr. Noel took time with me to ask questions and hear concerns. I feel like she was really listening, and cared.
