The doctor has cut his staff to a skeleton crew; one nurse and one receptionist. I'm not sure what was responsible for the long waits but, I always spent at least two hours at his office. I have fibromyalgia and the nurse seemed to take great joy in causing me unnecessary pain when she took my blood pressure. Once when I went to the office to pick up some samples the Dr. told me, while I was just standing in a hall, that "I tested positive for lupus"! Talk about NO bedside manner. Some of the other problems I had are only taken care of if I asked to see a specialist. Once I went in with severe swelling in my legs, ankles, and feet; he left the room and came back with a PDR [Physician's Desk Reference]. This didn't boost my confidence in him....that he had to look up the medicines he prescribed to me to see what their side effects would be! In my opinion I think he had to downsize on employees because he had lost patients!! Others wised up like I did and found a new doctor!!

I met Dr Cabe when going to the emergency room for a bad reaction to a new prescription from another doctor. Of course, I did not know that...
