Dr. Enoch Marvin Sanders, MD

My son was away at Old Dominion University (in Norfolk) when he came down with appendicitis. Dr. Sanders coordinated his care between the ER at Norfolk General and Alexandria Hospital. PJB was in the OR within an hour of arriving at the hospital. It only took Dr. Sanders 10 minutes to remove his infected appendix. What else is important to know is that I'm a seasoned Recovery Room Nurse. I've been working in the DC Metro region for 30 years. I had a plethora of general surgeons to choose from at any hospital in Va, DC or Md for my son. I deliberately choose Dr. Sanders because of his outstanding clinical skills. The best person to give you a recommendation on a surgeon is an OR or recovery room nurse. Please take my advice and choose Dr. Sanders for you or your family members. He's one of the best General Surgeons in the DC Metro region.

Calm and soothing, doesn't ever seem harried, explains thoroughly all aspects of one's case. There is never any question that he really is interested in you. He is very consistent. He's kind and gentle in the office visit setting, as well as at the bedside when he's making rounds in the hospital setting. I could go on all day extolling this wonderful gentleman's goodness. He's truly a breath of fresh air.

I recently had an appendectomy. i was only 14 and dr sanders was a great doctor to me. he was friendly and helped me through my two other surgeries affterward. He allways remembered me and go to know me very well. I would highly recommend him
