Cured my burnt finger

My husband went to Tarzana ER with what we suspected was a kidney stone. He was writhing in pain. Dr. Carlisle was the attending physician and he was awesome. Great bedside manner, communicated very clearly and was so kind. Two days later my husband was writhing in pain again when we had already thought the stone passed. We called Dr. Carlisle at 7:30 in the morning at the ER and he got on the phone with us and talked us off the ledge. I felt compelled to review him because it is so rare to meet a wonderful doctor in the ER.

My experience with Dr Carlisle was in the hospital ER. I found Dr Carlisle to have a poor bedside manner. I have severe/chronic spinal damage and I'm currently waiting for a multi-level cervical spinal fusion. For several weeks I have suffered with severe neck/head pain and dealt with neuropathy in both arms/hands. I had been awake all night with the pain when I decided to go into ER. Dr. Carlisle refused to give me any kind of support or medication to help relieve the elevated pain/spasms and told me I needed to contact my Pain Management doctor.
