I have seen Dr. Chavez for a couple years now, and my treatment plan has changed my life (my ability to fully enjoy life), and I am very grateful that I found him. Very easy to talk to, responsive, professional, very data-driven, and his staff are all friendly and accommodating as well.

Dr. Chavez cares about ALL of his patients. I have spent all of life in fear of getting on medication and he helped me with those fears. I completely trust that Dr. Chavez always has my best interest in mind. If you want to find a psychiatrist that truly cares about you as a whole person, then Dr. Chavez is your doctor.

At times -- and these are the most urgent times -- he is a consumate psychiatrist in every way. Affable, even playful at times, Doctor Chavez displays boundary issues (at times), although no harm done. He is especially adept at treatment of persons with substance abuse; however, a chararteristic of suspision generalizes to the rest of his (non-addicted) patients. The inclination towards manipulation, so present in persons with a personal history of abuse, appears to have generalized -- making it difficult at times if this is a well-thought out piece of therapy or a left-over feature of his own pathology. Overall, his patients, known to me, rate him as an excellent psychiatrist -- in fact, no one has ever said otherwise.
