As a mother of the patient, Dr Cox stating my daughter being 24 really shouldn’t feel the need to bring her mom was totally uncalled for especially since he has no children of his own therefore no compassion. His bed side manner well he was just rude. He may answer questions but at the same time make you feel stupid for asking them as he stated to his medical student don’t ask stupid questions which maybe his very dry humor that we didn’t find funny. When you meet someone for the very first time I would think as a dr you’d want to try and make them feel comfortable but instead you feel less of a person as he’s the dr. My daughter and I are both in the healthcare field and I would feel ashamed if anyone felt as if i didn’t care about them.

Dr. Cox explained the entire procedure of a laparoscopic bilateral inguinal hernia repair in plain English, took the time to explain all the possible complications, and made sure I knew he was available 24/7 if I had questions. He struck me at all times as very approachable and took the time to answer all of my questions.
