Dr. Eric Joseph Mcknight, MD

I’m a high-risk pregnant patient with a history of miscarriage & endocrine disorders, & a family history of genetic disorders. Our first time seeing this provider was disappointing and infuriating.From the start, he was dismissive and annoyed by my presence. He gave no introduction or acknowledgment of my medical history.I asked a straightforward question about updating a prescription and he became argumentative. My husband asked why my fundal height was not measured during this visit, as it had been at every prior appointment. Instead of explaining, he refused to answer. Said, “these numbers don’t really matter.” Very concerning given my high-risk/past losses.Also concerned by his inaccurate, lazy documentation that minimized my clinical picture & suggested my ultrasound growth monitoring was not necessary, ignoring my well-documented risk factors. No patient should receive this treatment. Do not schedule with this man, especially if you are high risk or have complex medical needs.

Dr. McKnight has been my doctor for 3 years. He went above and beyond for me during the delivery of my son. He listens and shows genuine concern for his patients.

I was extremely embarrassed about seeing someone for Genital Warts. Dr McNight handled the situation with great tact. My boyfriend and I had numerous questions which he patiently answered. I would highly recommend him and he will be my gynecologist for life.

I have been going to Dr. McKnight for 15, 18? years? It's been a really long time and I wouldn't trust anyone else to "take care of me". He listens, he's gentle, kind, and is how a doctor should be. He wasn't able to be there for the delivery of my baby, but I don't hold it against him.

I hesitate to leave this review because I don't want others to find him but I'm so glad I found him. As a survivor of past sexual abuse, visiting ob/gyn doctors has always been difficult for me, but he is an exception. He is good at listening and making you feel comfortable and treating you like a person! I'm amazed at how rare that skill is! He's friendly but also very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough and good at explaining things. He provides options and leaves the decisions up to you. I wish I had found him sooner. Highly recommend, but please don't go to him because I don't want it to be difficult for me to be fit into his schedule next time! ;)

First visit with him today. I follow up in 6 weeks again for an issue I'm having. His staff are extremely friendly. You really feel like a person here! The building decor I wasn't fond of, but everything was clean and that's what's important. Dr. McKnight listened, asked a lot of questions, answered a lot of questions, was very personable... I feel very comfortable with him after this visit. I'm glad to finally find an ob/gyn that I think I can trust! I will definitely go to him again for my care. Maybe I won't have to avoid my ob/gyn appointments anymore... I've had some rough ob/gyn docs in the past, cold,... just not the best. I don't have that feeling here!

Dr. McKnight has been my OBGYN since 2009. He's always very polite and attentive, and I get the impression he genuinely cares about my health. He was my doctor throughout my first pregnancy, and ultimately he delivered my son by emergency Caesarian section. I recovered very quickly, and my scar isn't very noticeable at all. During my prenatal appointments, he always answered all my questions, and my husband enjoyed asking questions too! I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. McKnight has been my OBGYN for the last 4 years, he delivered my son who is now 3yrs old. Dr. Mcknight is very careing, informative, and really makes you feel comfortable and confident in the fact that he is your doctor. Dr. McKnight is always ready to spend the as much time as needed with you and always answers your questions to the best of his ability. I would recommend Dr. McKnight to anyone, and have had a few of my friends switch to him and they are just as happy with him as I am. If your looking for an excellent doctor, and welcoming staff, then this is the place for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to four different gynecologists and Dr. McKnight is by far my favorite. He is very caring and well informed. He is really good at spending enough time with his patients and answering any questions you may have. I have had a few health problems the past few years, and out of the doctors I have been to, I feel most confident with Dr. McKnight.He is great at what he does and he has a strong knowledge on it. I highly recommend him.
