Dr. Eric Andrew Ogren, MD

I have been treated and tested for over 30 years with without being properly diagnosed. I was referred to Dr. Ogren because he was known as problem solver. He did not disappoint. He put me through a battery of tests which took months to get completed. Some of the tests I have not completed in the past. After all the tests were completed I was finally and properly diagnosed. The treatment plan has been working extremely well. I am truly grateful for Dr. Ogren's determination to get to the root cause of my issue. I was also impressed with the fact that one of my tests identified a mass unrelated to my condition and Dr. Ogren called me personally on his own time to tell me the results and he immediately referred me to a surgeon for consult. Within weeks I had the surgery completed and it was successful in removing the entire mass. Dr. Ogren has a very unique approach and ability to think outside the box and I could not be more pleased with how he helped me and the concern he… showed throughout the process. A five star rating is simply not thanks enough.

dr.ogren is the best dr. that i have had since ive been seen at the VA. he is very thorough and very concerned about his patience.

My experience with Dr. Eric Ogren ,has been very good. hes very caring and very much envolved with the care given to the people he is taking care of. He has called me on weekends as well as holidays, to inform me of tests results. best doctor i have had, wish more doctors were as good as he is.

Horrible experience, Rude! My father has had 3 strokes and between 45-50 little strokes. We wanted my dad to be seen by a VA dr and get a second opinion this dr didn’t care and asked “why are you here?”. Our Veterans deserve better care than this. No wonder this dr had an opening.

Dr. Ogren has been a life saver for me. He is an extremely caring and professional Dr. He takes alot of time with me and is very thorough. I know he really cares alot for his patients. He is a very special kind of Dr. not rushing through your appointment and listens to me attentively. I feel very comfortable with him. He is One of the best!

When you deal with the va you dont often get real personal attention, i have found that not to be the case with Dr Ogren. He has checked on me out of the blue on weekends and just to follow up on office visits. Certainly a cut above what you might hope for, a wonderful doctor.

The first time I met him he seemed to be concerned with my problem and started to search to find what was wrong and he is straight foreword telling you when he finds the problem and what has to be done.

I see Dr. Ogren at the Pittsburgh VA hospital. One of the best doctors I have seen in or out of the VA system. I wish there was a way to make him my PCP.
