In comparison to other ophthalmologists, he is very pricey. I found all the supplemental testing done by the assistants in the office really adds up. If you have a high deductible this place really adds up.

The doctor frequently cancels and or rescheduled my mother's appointments. She, on the other hand was 15 minutes late to her latest appointment and the office staff refused to allow her to see the doctor. Not sure if Dr. Wasserman is aware of this latest incident and if it is his policy to refuse to see a patient who has been "patient" with him.

Dr Wasserman performed my eye exam and was very professional, attentive, friendly and informative. This was my first exam in many years and he made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Wasserman to anyone for eye health care.

Er, Wasserman is a great doctor whom I trust. Has always given me his time and patience. Unfortunately, his staff is not always patient friendly. I feel the worst part of my yearly visit is being being "ambushed" by his eyeglass salesman. I shouldn't be forced into buying glasses. Especially at the extravagant prices the charge. I would like my prescription given directly to me and it's MY choice where I want to fill it. It's too bad, that these employees are a reflection on Dr.Wasserman and his practice.

I find Dr. Wasserman to be very professional, caring and knowledgeable. His staff is friendly and efficient. Overall my experience with his practice was wonderful and I will be a returning patient.

Dr. Wasserman is a top notch ophtalmologist in Stamford. He is very well known and regarded by his peers as far as I can tell. You should consult him if you have any eye condition that requires such a high profile provider, as I definitely do. He is definitely very busy and making a first appointment can take time. He is also part of a network for off hours emergencies. With our plan, his glasses selection is very affordable and the lens quality is top of the range Essilor, as confirmed by independent vendors.
