I went to Dr. Heggland for a shoulder problem. He was thorough and patient with all my questions. I followed his advice after the surgery (PT) and now I am back doing all the activities I love!

Went into surgery expecting a lateral release. Came out with what I found out years later to be a microfracture. I was not told how critical the post-op rehab was or how it actually worked. I learned about it from a TV interview on Charlie Rose. Hence, my knee never healed properly.

My experience with Dr. Heggland was as enjoyable as surgery can possibly be. They got me in for office visits and surgery as fast as was possible, spent ample time answering my numerous questions before and after, explained the surgery procedure that would work best for my situation in detail that was understandable, and he was professional throughout.
