Dr. Ester Doreen Lincourt, MD

This MD and nursing staff don't understand the problem of false negative with dense breast tissue for breast exams and refused to contact my insurance company to get approval to have a 3D scan performed. Their response, was that the scan came back normal so there is no need. That is the very problem with false negatives, they show up normal with dense breast tissue!! My previous OB/GYN in another state understood this and always ordered the 3D scan, but this MD won't even contact the insurance company to approve it. Even when my insurance will pay for the 3D scan, and just require the Dr. to approve the scan. The nursing staff was very rude about and treated me like an idiot. All they had to do is approve the scan for my insurance company, and they refused! Clearly not fully competent. Who cares about appointment times, promptness, and spending time with the patient categories for ratings, when the standard of care is absent?

I would not recommend!

Dr. Lincourt is awesome. She finds humor in my comments. She is very knowledgeable about any item I want to discuss. I hope she never retires.

Dr. Lincourt is by far the worst Doctor I have ever had. If the answer isn't cleared up with a pap smear your pain is clearly a psychological problem. She was rude and insulting about my gynecological issues. She also was vastly irresponsible when my 8 month pregnant sister went to visit her after a bad car accident. Dr. Lincourt failed to check her cervix or perform an ultrasound even after requests for them were made. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone.

I have gone to Dr. Lincourt for several years now. If you want to go to a doctor just for regular check ups with no problems than Dr. Lincourt is fine for that. However, I have had issues with PCOS for a few years now that keep getting more severe and causing me many issues. Finally after not getting my period for over 3 months and having such severe pms that I felt like I would explode, I thought I would bite the bullet and go see Dr. Lincourt. When I finally did get to meet with her she comes in and says in a very uncaring manner, "So, I hear you have a little PMS". As if I would pay $65 and take off work and wait to see her just for some simple PMS. I explained to her what I was going through and because my hormones were so out of whack at that time I was very emotional and started crying. She just looked at me like I was crazy and had absolutely no bedside manner. Finally she ordered a sonogram and blood tests to be done. I received a call from her nurse (who is very nice) after… the blood test and she told me that my hormones were very unbalanced and they were in line with severe PCOS. I then went in and got the sonogram done and the sonographer was showing me the cysts that I had and explaining how there were too many and that I definitely had a problem there. After that I was supposed to meet with Dr. Lincourt. I waited for an hour AFTER my appt. with Dr. Lincourt was supposed to start. Dr. Lincourt would walk right by me several times and never even made eye contact with me to let me know she was running late or anything. Finally, I told one of the staff that I would have to leave and go back to work and she said Dr. Lincourt would see me soon. Finally when I did get to see Dr. Lincourt she was about as cold and unfriendly as anyone could be. She briefly scanned over my results and then looked up at me and said, "Well, everything looks fine." I'm like, what?? the blood tests are abnormal and the sonographer just told me that the ultrasound was abnormal? She looked at me as if I did not matter at all and said, "Well, you can take the progesterone cream, or don't take it, whatever you feel like." I was so mad inside that I couldn't even say anything and I politely said okay and left the office." I do not expect any kind of royal treatment, I just expect to be treated as a human and as if my doctor cares a little about helping me resolve these issues which are important to my health & well being. I have never written a bad review on a Dr. before in my life but I felt it was warranted in this case. Good luck to everyone and if you have PCOS do not go see Dr. Lincourt!

Dr Lincourt is exceptional. Out of 5 OBs she was the only one who diagnosed me properly and had me healing in no time. Excellent excellent DR. Very knowledgeable.

I have been going to Dr. Lincourt for 7 years and she is very knowledgable. She has helped me through ovarian cysts, pre-cancerous cells in my uterus and has delivered my healthy premature baby. I didn't know where all of my problems would take me but with her help I was able to rid my cysts, my pre-cancerous cells and have a wonderful baby boy.
