Went to Dr. Clayton's location to receive injection and was told that that visit had to be a "consult only" as a prerequisite for insurance approval. An appointment was set for the following Wednesday. Contacted Tuesday by the Doctor's staff and informed that the request was approved but they would have to wait two weeks until they could perform the injection. Contacted insurance company and was informed that the request had been denied as it indicated that an injection had been administrated on the initial visit; a two week delay was required to observe the outcome of the initial treatment before they would accept a new request for service. Contacted Dr. Clayton's office; they refused to assist resolving the inaccurate information sent to insurance causing the denial i.e., must now wait two weeks before they will submit a request for approval again.

I recently had an epidural administered by Dr. Clayton to relieve a situation in my spinal area and neck. He was very professional and pleasant, as was his staff. I experienced almost instant relief and my range of motion has improved.

Dr. Clayton was highly recommended and administered an injection in my back for sciatica. There was immediate relief with minimal discomfort. I was very pleased with my results.

I have been to Dr. Clayton several times, and I think he's better than any anesthesiologist in the Hill Country, San Antonio, Dallas or Houston. His staff is excellent also. Thank you!!!
