I went to Dr. DeSalvo because I had blood in my urine. Prior to this visit, I have not had any leakage problems. After leaving his office(he put in a catheter to take an urine sample) I started leaking. After repeated calls to the office and a call back from Dr. DeSalvo pretty much yelling at me that it would go away and that I should do Kegel exercises it still did not go away. After going to three other doctors(found a great one, Dr. Karlin) I am still leaking but not very much at all. Dr. D did not take any responsibility for what he did nor did he try to help me.

I used a vacation day at work for a scheduled, confirmed procedure with Dr. DeSalvo. The doctor did not show up to the appointment due to an administrative error by his office staff. Although I have since telephoned and written a letter to the doctor, he never responded. The doctor's lack of concern over my lost time and his refusal to ackowledge my calls and letter are testaments to his unprofessionalism.
