Dr. Evander Fogle

Dr. Fogle is a great doctor. He is a very experienced orthopedic surgeon. He was very patient and answered all my concerns. I had several visits with him about my broken shoulder - which did not require surgery - and he was always pleasant and informative. His staff was also very nice and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Fogle and his practice; they were a pleasure to deal with.

I had an appointment with Dr fogle for a knee issue. he took the time to explain in detail and was easy to understand. he was patient and a great listener. I would recommend dr fogle to friends and family.

Dr. Fogle performed a meticulous surgery on my knee that had me running 6 mile stretches within a week without giving me any associated issues in the 7 years since. He recently advised me on a separate knee issue with well-earned wisdom, restrained counsel, and perfectly tempered bedside manner.

Simply the best! Dr Fogle has been treating me and my wife for many years and it has been a perfect experience. Think of every atttribute you would want in your doctor as well as his staff and Dr Fogle has them all. I think a 6 star rating would be more accurate.

I was in Maine and had a Baker’s cyst behind my right knee. It was painful and became more enlarged daily b/c of all the walking. On our fifth day there, the pain was excruciating; I left my friends who wanted to climb a lighthouse, and on the way back to the car, I felt a hard snap/pop behind my knee, screamed and fell in the middle of the road! Fortunately, I was rescued by onlookers and then taken to 24 hour emergency. X-rays were taken and showed no broken bones. No MRI was available within 100 or so miles.I returned immediately to Atlanta, where I saw Dr. Fogle, who correctly diagnosed the cyst’s pressure against the meniscus. He was very empathetic and carefully and assuredly drained my knee, prescribed bed rest, prescribed anti-inflammatory, continued use of crutches, gave me steroid shot and said not to worry, no surgery needed, and expect healing within a week or so. I followed his instructions and am up and at ‘em again. He and his PA were both so confident and at ease that… I immediately knew I was in good hands. I was so lucky to be “worked in” his schedule the day after I returned from my trip. The pain had been excruciating and scary to this 73 yo woman.His humor and bedside manner instantly mitigated my concern. I highly recommend —and sincerely thank — Dr. Fogle and his staff.

Dr. Fogle is an excellent surgeon. He combines tremendous knowledge and experience with an empathetic approach for his patients. He along with the wonderful staff at Resurgens Orthopaedics provide medical care that is second to none.
