Patient Reviews ?
While trying to decide if Dr. Fata was incompetent or simply greedy, the magnitude of news reports and personal stories lead me to believe he was a monster. As a RN, I can attest he did not follow accepted practice in the examining room.
I enjoy the image of the onetime Doctor eating his meals from a tray, showering with all of the boys and getting it from behind after what he did to our family and so many others. I wonder if he is a husband or a wife in jail?
Farid Fata has created a horror story that should be in a fiction book. He is a bottom feeding Fâer who I hope will rot where pigs like him go. He is responsible for the death of many of our loved ones as well as hurting and damaging current patients who thankfully survived his treatments. I would love to get my hands on this _ock sucker for just one minute for what he did to my dad. He and his hag wife need to be locked away for the rest of their miserable loser lives.
I I am very grateful for the care that my husband received from Dr Fata. He was our second opinion after biopsy came back positive for lung cancer. Appts did take up to two hrs but when he came into the room he always gave us his full attention. He explained things with pictures and always made she that all of my husbands concerns were talked over and if he could not help he always referred us to other specialists. My heart goes out to others who did not experience the care we did. Prayers are being said for all involved.
You are sick. Sick man.
what a pig, for money?? come on, you took an oath, must not have meant anything to you what so ever, this is just despicable YOU!!!!
MERECES EL INFIERNO POR PERVERSO Y ASESINO !!
If your mother had a normal PET scan why did he do another PET in one year Don't you understand why ? Reading the news it looks like he was arrested for doing unnecessary testing She got radiation exposure for no reason and he may have ripped the government using his own PET scan
To answer Christina's question, Yes, Dr. Pallas is still an oncologist in Oakland Co. However, he is not affiliated with Dr. Fata in the sense you are referring too. He is not part of Dr. Fata's Michigan Hematology and Oncology (MHO) practice. They may have worked together in the past that I am not aware of. However, they have shared rented office space at various locations in Oakland Co. and Lapeer Co. , that I do know. I have worked in the healthcare field around the Clarkston area for several years and I know that Dr. Pallas is not part of this mess. If you search the web, you can find a copy of the original affidavit that led to Fata's arrest. Not once was Dr. Pallas mentioned in any of it. I work in a field where I am familiar with patients that have been diagnosed with cancer. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Dr. Pallas and his staff. Almost all his patients that I have encountered are in good health and cancer free. I am not saying that he is a miracle worker and can save everyone. All I know is, it doesn't seem that any of them were bombarded with unnecessary chemo treatments. I actually have noticed with a lot of his patients, he tries courses of radiation first in their treatment plan. Especially in patients diagnosed in the early stages of the disease. Not the case with what I have read and heard about with Dr. Fata.. It looks like all his patients were treated with chemo.. Even if not needed.. Why?? Because he was a greedy SOB! Chemo and cancer drugs bring in BIG $, Dr. Fata owned or was part of a pharmacy in the area that provided these drugs. He also opened up a diagnostic facility that did MRI, PET Scans , and various other diagnostic testing.. He would direct his staff NOT to schedule patients PET Scans at other facilities until his opened up...WHY?? The all mighty $$$... PET Scans can show if cancer has spread to other parts of the body... It's so important to find out ASAP.. But he didn't care! I really really hope he gets major time in prison and hopefully all his assets seized!
Does anyone know of a oncoligist named Dr Pallas? Practiced in Oakland County out of St Joseph about 8 yrs ago? Hes assioated with him also!!!!
Well I can tell you I will never recommend him to anyone. My father went to this man for help and honesty and instead got all lies and tons of drugs pumped into his body. My father died less than two months after he was told he had cancer and spent the majority of the time being pumped of chemicals that he never needed. He should have been told to go home and enjoy his family but he was lead to believe that Dr. Fata would fix him. My father fell one time in the parking lot of his office on his way to his appointment and instead of sending him to get x-rays or to get checked out, Dr. Fata told him he would be fine and made him still get his radiation that he never needed. Turns out two to three weeks later when I made Dr. Fata admit him to the hospital and after he got x-rays that, that his shoulder was fractured for all that time and he had to live with the pain. When he was expressing the pain to one of Dr. Fata's staff members that he had expressed several time to the office that he had lots of pain due to the fact that he fell, Dr. Fata called him a liar and stated that he never told anyone that. Less than two months after my father suffered because of Dr. Fata, my father died. Dr. Fata never told my father that he was dying and lead him to think that he would still drive. If this was your father and a doctor did this to them would you still recommend them?
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Dr. Farid Fataâs website for his Michigan Hematology Oncology practice promises the âBest Cancer Care â Anywhere.â But, U. S. Attorney Barbara McQuade says otherwise. Federal agents arrested the 48-year-old Oakland Township doctor this morning at his Rochester Hills practice. McQuade says heâs charged with healthcare fraud for his role in a scheme to submit false claims to Medicare for treatments that were medically unnecessary. McQuade says the fraud scheme involves $35 million. Federal officials are alleging an even worse crime than cheating Medicare -- in their criminal complaint against Fata, FBI agents say âDr. Fata directed the administration of unnecessary chemotherapy to patients in remission.â
This piece of trash makes me sick. Stealing money from medicare for his own personal gain and putting peoples lives at risk. I hope they dont let him out on bail...
I hope anyone who has been treated by this POS gets a good lawyer and sues this SOB. Mostly importantly, go see a REAL doctor who will not abuse your trust. Human garbage like this is a disgrace to the medical profession.
What about the Radiation oncologist Dr. Fata would refer patients to for radiation? This Dr. And staff were fully aware of the way Dr. Fata practiced and they went right along with his plan.......your all scum bags ans deserve every last thing that is coming to you.
Scumbag Fata Was Arrested By The Fbi For Falsely Diagnosing Patients In Order To Commit HealthCare Fraud. He Was Ordering Patients To Undergo Chemo Therapy On Patients Who's Cancer Was Already In Remission. Not To Mention The Fact That He Probably Was Taking Credit For Sending Peoples Cancer Back In Remission. So, Our Scumbag Dr Of The Year Award Goes To Dr Farid Fata! congratulations Fata! Hopefully, You Treated And Scammed Your Prison Cellmate "Bubba's" Mother. I'm Sure He'll Think Real Highly Of You. Who Knows, Maybe You'll Luck Out And Turn You Into His New Boytoy!
Cancer runs in my family. I was diagnosed with breast cancer one month after my mom was found to have stage IV lung cancer. It has been a tough journey. Dr Fata and the Swan For Life Cancer Foundation were all present for me. Great support and communication. They treat us with compassion and dignity. I had an opinion from MD Anderson in Houstion, it was the same what doctor Fata has provided in his treatment plan. I would recommend him and his cancer Team for my friends and neighbours.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Dr Fata found that my cancer has spread early enough to treat appropriately. He was very compassionate. He treated my with care and always called me to discuss. The team wh oworks with him has shown great communication. I would recommend him to others. I am now a survivor for three years
The Dr is an intelligent positive influence that was critical in coping with such a life changing event. He is calm and positive when speaking with you and yet keeps his answers honest. As with any doctor, be prepared with questions, which he is very happy to discuss with you.
Dr. Fata treated my Mother's anemia for one year without finding the root cause of her problem: CANCER. My Mother suffered through this period of time without a proper diagnosis and much needed treatment. It was another doctor who ordered the tests that rendered the diagnosis. When we went to a consult with Dr. Fata he recommended chemotherapy without ordering a PET scan to see if the cancer had spread; he felt a PET scan was unnecessary for her treatment! Dr. Fata wanted to fill his chemo chair with another patient. He did not adequately explore other options available with us. Also, on the consult day we waited three hours to see Dr. Fata, only to have our brief meeting interrupted three times. RUN FROM THIS DOCTOR AND GET A SECOND OPINION FOR YOURSELF OR LOVED ONE! Every cancer patient needs to be seen by a hematologist-oncologist, radiation oncologist and surgeon. Take the time to get a second opinion and educate yourself regarding your options.
My initial appointment, I waited over 1 hour to see the doctor. The second appointment I waited 35 minutes and still had not seen the doctor. As I was leaving I was told they were updating my chart. Poor organization.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Have complete confidence in him. He takes time with his patients to answer any questions which is good but the downside is that this leads to extended waits for your turn.
Dr. Fata seems very competent to me and is not only a very good oncologist, but is also a very good hemotologist. I'm lucky to get fairly good news with each visit and I don't require a lot of the doctor's time. I pray for those people who are in worse shape than I am and have to endure long waits to see the doctor. Of course, wait times are long, but I've been with other cancer patients on their visits to Karmanos and the wait is comparable. When Dr. Fata gives good news he often accompanies it with a "thank God." That simple gesture lets me know that Dr. Fata sees me as a whole person instead of a lab report.
he a good doctor see u soon
Dr Fata was very helpful to care for my husband who was dying from Melanoma. His staff was very supportive. The swan for Life cancer foundation provided us detailed counseling. The oncology social worker on site helped me tremendously to find resources that would care to my husband and made my cancer journey very helpful. They are compassionate and care to help.
Dr Fata is very compassionate. He saved my life with chemotherapy treatment for my stage III lung cancer. He is honest and up to the point. He goes extramile to help and save your life. I would recommend him to everyone who suffers cancer.
Did a great job, saved my life, but the follow up visits are excruciating. 4 hours to find out "all tests negative"!Grateful for the work he did, but he could have had a nurse tell me that, but then he would not get to bill for the visit. So my time is worth nothing?
We have highest regards for Dr Fata and his qualified staff. Dr. Fata provides updated treatment options with the desire to take achieve the cutting edge of success. He is most compassionate and truly a blessing with his wealth of knowledge and caring demeanor.
It's all about the money here. Don't ask too many questions, be dumb, and don't be intelligent and this will be the PERFECT office for you!You take your own life in your hands here.
I waited over two hours to see Dr. Fata for 3 minutes. He makes you schedule appointments for test results. It was a complete waste of my time. Then on top of it he was very brief and did not take my feelings into consideration when he responded to questions.
Dr. Fata rounds on his patients in the middle of the night. Very poor phycisian.
Wait times are way too long and see longer since the waiting area has nothing to keep you occupied. No TV, music, fish tank - just out of date magazines. At least put in some sports magazines for you male customers.
Dr. Fata is a brilliant, caring, compasionate physician. His bedside manner is kind and gentle yet he explains everything in detail. I truly felt that he was going to make me well again, which he did. I really can't say enough wonderful things about this great doctor except that if you are desperately in need of hope and want a physician who can give it to you, then contact Dr. Fata!
