I can't believe people with torches aren't at his door. I wish they had negative stars to rate this one.
I saw dr Z as a follow up from visit to my ER where my tonsils were swollen and I had difficulty breathing. Dr Z was very thorough and polite and I felt he listened to me to get the full picture of what was going on. His staff was exceptional and I would highly reccimend him. Was nice to get a follow up call the next day to make sure I was doing ok.
Timely matter that the office gets back to me if needed that's is most important things to your patients. Keep up the good work everyone .
This is the first time seeing Dr Zahurullah and he used the exact same diagnosis that my previous doctor has been using. Although Dr Zahurullah is trying to do something to prevent my chronic sinusitus. My previous doctor just gave me antibiotics and prednisone to treat it (and I get it every 2-3 months). Definitely liking that! Plus he wants to see me in a month to see if I feel the treatment is working. I did not fill out the "follows up after visit" part of the ratings due to the fact I have only seen him this one time.
I like the fact that the last time (2002) I needed to see an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor that it was Dr. Z and HE'S STILL THERE!!!!! He is sooooo very nice, explains what he's doing and why, in a way that you don't feel stupid.when you ask a question. Is very caring and his chair side manner is great too!!! Rockford Clinic is lucky to have him!!!
Listens to the patient. Clearly explains the problem and treatment. Very calming way of communicating. Painless!!
Great staff, great doctor, great atmosphere. All together gave me a great experience.
We saw Dr. Zahurullah for my son, Zak, who was hit in the nose in football practice. Dr. Zahurullah was very thorough and provided a lot of good information about the injury and possible surgery, which thankfully wasn't necessary. He was able to answer all of our questions and we didn't feel rushed, even though our appointment was last minute and likely squeezed into his schedule. We would definitely recommend him to others.
Dr. Zahurullah was very friendly, spent time listening to what I had to say and explained things in ways that were easy to understand. I was pleased with the outcome of my visit.
Dr. Zahurulla is a wonderful doctor and we are very happy with him! He always wears a smile and is very positive and outgoing! Also, he is very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for everything doctor!
It is a pleasure working with you. Our experience has been super. Your kindness and caring are felt in every visit that we have been to. We feel that you are the best and have told all of our friends. Thank you for everything.
I am so impressed with Dr. Zahurullah!! I was new to the ear infection world and he helped me immediately! He spent quality time listening to my situation and when he prescribed medication he was conscious about the possible out of pocket expenses...very professional! I highly recommend his expertise!
Dr Zahurullah has excellent bedside manner, most especially with children. He exhibited patience with my 5 year old and kept the apppointment cheerful and positive for her. Between his personality and high expertise, we feel lucky to have him for our ENT specialist.
Although allergy drops aren't covered by insurance and I have to pay out of pocket, they've worked great for me. I was getting a sinus infection/bronchitis every 2wks. Sometimes we had to try things by trial and error. I stayed with it due in large to Dr. Z's willingness to adjust and try new things. Also at the same time of getting me relief when I needed and getting me in for f/u appts. I'm happy. I'm almost off my meds intirely, except for seasonal flare-ups I relate to the crazy drops/changes in weather when we may go from 70 one day to 40 the next.
I has been suffering from painful sinus infections for some time. Dr. Z was helpful and attentive during the appointment and suggested a new procedure : balloon sinuplasty. I am happy I had the surgery. Recovery time was relatively short. I am now painfree.
After seeing him multiple times over a 5 year period, I was told I would need $45,000 worth of surgeries on my sinuses. Kept getting prescribed basic antibiotics that you get for a cold, for the sinus infection i had so it lasted 3years and wouldn't go away. I finally went to a specialist at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago and was given the appropriate antibiotics/diagnosis and my infection went away. No need for $45,000 worth of surgery. Just wish I would've gone sooner, rather than living with a sinus infection for the past 3 years and thinking that I needed major surgery. Would not recommend to anyone.
same thing everyone else is saying, very rude does not listen to patients, did not help mt symptoms one bit,but made some money
This is the worst doctor I ever had. Very rude, unpatient and without any respect. His office never called me back for my results. Him and the whole facility will never see me again over there. Cannot believe that something like that actually exists. Woooow. :(
I would never, ever recommend this man. I am not sure what culture he is from but he is very, very rude. I have been fairly ill for about a year now and he refused to listen to any of my symptoms and refused to believe anything I told him. So...in a nutshell don't was your time. See someone else for sure.
Dr. Z was extremely slow to act on a serious condition with one of my parents. We repeatedly asked him to move forward with other treatment options but were told we would be "wasting other doctor's time" until he finished his diagnosis. While waiting for his results my parent died. His lack of urgency and treatment of the family as a nuisance contributed to his patients pain and suffering. Hopefully he will eventually learn better patient interaction skills but for now that's not the case. And he completely missed the severity of the medical situation.Recommend you look elsewhere.
I have been to one other ent who has a good reputation but after switching to Dr.Z, I rate him outstanding! The wait in waiting room is sometimes long but he is WORTH the wait and still he spends adequate time with his patients even when he gets behind.
Dr. Z spent less than 10 minutes with us, made a diagnosis, wrote the condition on a piece of paper, presribed a nasal spray and told me to look up the condition on the internet. During a year of spotty relief and at times severe pain, and several more office visits, Dr Z seemed offended and angered (at every visit!) when I would question him and offer observations. He said there were no good alternatives and that we had to live with the pain since there was no cure. Since then, an ENT at the Children's Hospital in Madison and an allergist's review of the catscans questioned why Dr Z would make such a simple diagnosis desite other cludes on the catscan. Dr. Z is not an allergist and apparently does not have a deep understanding of fungal infections
