Dr. Frank Bernard Sarlo, MD

I requested specifically not to be discharged from PT, went to PT to learn I was discharged anyways. He knew the PT that he referred me to broke her hand in the middle of our work and I missed 2.5 weeks. I called and asked for a referral somewhere else and he had no suggestions of replacement. He did not understand that I was looking for a PT who did both hands on and traditional strengthening exercises, though I tried to communicate this from the beginning. He does not seem to understand that the body needs more than what insurance is willing to pay but that doesn't mean the patient needs to stop and be referred to surgery. I was left feeling misunderstood and confused. (Dr. Delport has since been recommended to me by several people, if you are in need of a back doctor. I have not seen this doctor myself.)

Dr Sarlo saw me for EMG testing ordered by my primary care. Physician. He did a good job, was pleasant and professional.

Had several EMGs performed by Dr. Sarlo. He was easy to talk to, took my history and explained everything and tho the test can be fairly uncomfortable he put me at ease and talked to me throughout the procedure. When I had my second/third, he remembered me and talked more about some of the same subjects. First time, he explained what the issue was and what might be causing it. During later testing I was worried that some issues had returned after surgery, was able to get my results quickly and put my mind at ease.

I called to cancel an appointment 24 hours in advance. Was charged a $50 no show fee.
