1# Your childs physician should not yell " Sit up when someone is talking to you, its rude to lay down!" This statement is inappropriate. especially when your child is being seen for a sick visit. #2 Your childs physician should not leave you waiting in an exam room for over an hour with complaints of chest pain. #3 Your child should have thier blood pressure checked prior to being put in an exam room for over an hour. #4 A pulse oximeter does not pick up irregular heart beats. #5. If your child tries to tell their physician that their jaw hurts. The physician should listen. Especially when the initial visit is for chest pain. They should not be yelled at your child and tell them they did not come here for jaw pain today. #6 Your child's physician should not mind being questions about the medication they are ordering for your child. #7Your child's physician shoud actually leave the computer she is working on and physically touch and examine your child. This includes but is not limited to checking there lymph glands listening to the front of thier chest for heart sounds. #8 If your child has been seen by a specialist and has had previous testing. Their physician should not roll thier eyes, when asked to read your childs chart. This is definitely a sign of lack of interest in caring for your child. Sorry your child deserves better than this and should be treated with respect and dignity. Medicine is not practiced this way and physicians who do not like coming to work should stay home! I highly recommend you remember that the physician works for you. If you have a bad experience like I have, do not go back to them.

I have three children which have been seeing Dr. Ryan/her office for about six years. We frequently are in Dr. Ryan's office. Especially in the fall and winter months. I always get an appointment the day I call. Sometimes the appointment is with a nurse practitioner but they are great. I am very happy with her and her office and the fact you can get in on the weekends if your child is really sick. That is very helpful not having to go to the ER every time.
