At my first visit with Dr. Shapiro, He listened...he explained, took plenty of time to go over my MRI and discuss diagnosis. Also has a Great and Friendly staff. The day of surgery came to answer any of my concerns with patience and compassion. Dr Shapiro also called me four hours after surgery to see how I was feeling and to answer any questions. Its Rare to find Doctors like Gary with true compassion..Im so ready to tackle recovery

Dr Shapiro is a highly experienced physician who makes every effort to explain the options for treatment in easy to understand terms. I have been a patient of Dr Shapiro’s for 10 years and have always felt confident in his treatment decisions. He is kind, thorough and thoughtful in his approach to patient care.

I almost canceled when I read some of the comments. They’re not true! The ones pertaining to his nurse are 6 years old. My experience was great, a very nice professional doctor. It doesn’t get any better!

In the service I would call my visit with Dr. Shapiro "wham, bam, thank you mam". (very mechanical)

Nurse is completely lacking knowledge about medication but freely gives incorrect answers. Doctor seems nervous and does not fully address issues.

Dr Shapiro gave me my life back. He's done surgery on my cervical spine as well as my lumbar spine. I now can function without pain. As far as I'm concerned, he walks on water.

After my consult with Dr. Gary Shapiro about two herniated disks, I walked away with a confidence & respect for him as a doctor & a surgeon. On the other hand, his nurse "Tracey" is an extra, extra large buggy-eyed know it all annoyance! I dislike dealing with her because she comes across as stressed-out, burnt-out, thinks she knows everything, (she clearly doesn't!) the tone in her voice is unpleasant and rude! I'm shocked Dr. Shapiro has Tracey as his main nurse, she's unhealthy and a down right bad reflection for his entire practice!
