Have you seen Dr. Gary Sheppard?

February 27th, 2012BEWARE!
My 82 year old father was put on Coumadin (blood thinner) and we were told by the hospital that his blood needed to be checked twice a week until it was at the proper level. Dr. Sheppard's assistant, Denise, told us twice he did not need to come back to have it checked for a month, even after we told her our original instructions. Thank goodness we ignored her, he started bleeding out even though we were following him closely. There are other things that happened and we couldn't change doctors fast enough! BEWARE!
June 20th, 2011COMPASSIONATE PRACTICE IF MEDICINE
I lucked into seeing this rare physician over 15 years ago. I left for a couple of years as dictated by my my insurance coverage but quickly returned to him the earliest I could straighten up my insurance mixups. This doctor has a way of getting you relaxed (never in a rush to get you out) while exploring your case and prescribing the best course of treatment. In a nutshell, he still practices medicine like it was before the corporate sharks messed it up.
