Dr. Veley received his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 2001, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut John Dempsey Medical Center in 2004, and his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, NYC, in 2007. Dr. Veley has advanced training in interventional pulmonology, including bronchoscopy techniques for diagnosing lung cancer, such as Endobronchial Ultrasound Guided biopsy (EBUS) and Navigational Bronchoscopy.

We have seen so many doctors in the last year and Dr. Veley tops our chart! He was patient, and thorough, listened intently to my elderly mother, and really made her feel heard. Leaving there today both my mom and I felt like he will get to the bottom of her situation. He had also looked at her history and was so prepared. It also doesn't hurt that his office staff was amazing.

No bedside manners and doesn't listen to patients or family members.

Dr Veley was a tremendous help to me in identifying my sleep issues. Uhfortuhately he moved his practice out of state. I will miss him.

Dr. Veley's been wonderful over the last two years I've been seeing him. Both my father and sister agree as I've referred them to him as well. One of the rare docs who listens and explains your condition. Great knowledge. Office staff tends to be rude at times.

I've been under Dr. Veley's care for several months. He was referred to me by a few friends that he's also caring for. He always sits and spends enough time with you, one of the rare physicians that listens and fully explains your questions. I would recommend him highly without reservation. It's tough to find a physician with superb bedside manner that deeply cares about his patients. Keep up the great work!

I have encountered Dr. Veley on several occasions with dealing with a patient with COPD. His "bedside manner", attitude, and time spent is in need of improvement. I would NOT recommend anyone see this dr. I would love to know how anyone uses him as their doctor. All the other doctors in this practice are the BEST and wonderful. Dr. Veley needs them to retrain him or send him elsewhere. No wonder he is the on call doctor on most weekends and holidays. He should take that as a significant sign to go where no one cares about his attitude when speaking to you. Enough with the "mam" when he knows your name. I usually do not put in comments but this has happened too many times.
