Dr. Engal was the rudest, most obnoxious doctor I have ever been to. He was very dismissive and belittled my concerns - repeatedly! I went to him for a second opinion. That was a big mistake. I do not feel, however, that Dr. Letco is reflective of the wonderful doctors and healthcare professionals at Northwestern. I have been treated by doctors in the neurology department there, and they were wonderful. I am grateful now for my compassionate, dedicated doctor - Dr. Letco - at the University of Chicago. They DO NOT care about patients. They are out for money and do not deliver value. They lie about what insurance covers and have no mercy when you get a giant bill for nothing! Literally was told to take advil and sent home!!! UGH...better business review please audit this horrible practice!

The doc is primarily concerning his business, ordering a lot of expensive tests. Care less about their effectiveness and harm to patients.

My husband had kidney cancer and Dr. Engel was his doctor. He was wonderful to both of us! I only gave 4 stars for the Accurate Diagnosis. I wish he HAD been wrong. . .

Have been a patient for four years. Doctor goes out of his way to put me at ease. After diagnosis treatment options easily explained. Has given me great assistance with various insurance problems. Has a great PA who I also have appointments with.
