Went to him on a referral after hubby had ultrasound and CAT scan showing lesion on kidney, and after biopsy revealed renal cell carcinoma. This bozo came in the appt. room, started talking about care options. Then he said he should have an ultrasound. I tolk him he had one, and the files were on a disc in his computer. "Oh, then let's look at them." Ya think? He looked at the film and said it really should be biopsied. I asked if he meant like the biopsy he had two weeks ago? "Oh, you had a biopsy? Let's see if there's a pathology report." Looks at pathology report (scans, actually) and determines that based on the report that says there is renal cell carcinoma, he should have a second opinion because it might not really be that afterall. Tops it off by telling us that even if it is, he wouldn't do the laporoscopic surgery, so we'd need to talk to one of his partners or get a referral to Hershey Med. After waiting another month, we're going to Hopkins next week. At least there doctors have education and are capable of diagnosis and treatment. If you are referred to him - run the other way!
