I would give 0 stars if I could! Physicians should listen to their patients and understand the importance of preventative care and not ignore the obvious needing treatment!!!

08/09/2024 My Home Health Nurse contacted the Pulmonary Dept. at Ochsner regarding my swollen lymph nodes, the phlegm I was coughing up, and having to use my inhaler more often. The office told my home health nurse to have me see my PCP or go to Urgent Care. They went on to say that I see several doctors at Ochsner. My nurse said she confirmed that she was speaking to the Pulmonary dept; she was told yes she had the correct dept. It's correct that I see several doctors at Ochsner. I see a Rheumatologist, a Cardiologist, an Allergist, an Orthopedic doctor, and an ENT. I don't know why they mentioned to my nurse that I see other doctors when the matter at hand was a pulmonary concern.

Very rude and inconsiderate...Had a attitude for no reason..I will not be treated that way.The attorney sent me there. He acted as if he was doing me a favor.Everthing he said did not match up to what my other Dr said.He acted like he was intoxicated.

Diagnosed me with COPD, when my PFT test indicated a lung capacity of 130%. Berated and hounded me to buy a nebulizer from suppliers he picked. Did not discuss COPD, just wrote it in my chart. Prescribed albuterol and other medicines that did not work. Went to another specialist and a simple scan revealed atelectasis. He wasted my money, my time and caused unnecessary pain and suffering.

Dr Gomes is an amazing Pulmonologist. Very patient and does not give up until he is able to provide a correct diagnosis with an effective treatment plan. I would recommend Dr. Gomes to everyone. The staff is also very helpful.

After many years of suffering I was referred to Dr. Gomes. Great staff and a correct diagnosis. Best Doctor I have ever been to.

the worst doctor I have ever seen, went in with breathing problems and he said I was healthy and lose weight, got a second opinion and found out I had COPD

I love the way he takes the time to inquire about how i am feeling at the time of my visit and the time since my last visit. He seems very caring about my treatment
